Harry Buchanan’s Tuesday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on April 9, 2024April 9, 2024 | Posted by TABtouch MANDURAH Race 1 No. 3 Glasgow Boy Good effort last week and this slightly easier. Just needs to get involved sooner and he can finish into the placings here again. Race 3 No. 2 Fancy That Fred Fine run last week and part of a very promising litter. Got no early favours but launched well late and gets a better draw here. Will get further but well placed to do something in this. He’s a great show. Race 4 No. 4 Another James Another one from the same litter and he’s got his share of talent as well. Has a good turn of foot off the mat and just needs to improve his box rise step. Will be a major threat here if he comes out running. Race 5 No. 6 Wild Ollie Showed his good speed last time but just out mustered in the run early and caught between dogs. Can rush up solo this time and will give a great showing if he crosses these and gets away. Going well enough to win and will be a price. Race 6 No. 3 Opal Deluxe Missed the start last week which isn’t like her. The recovery was excellent however so a better step will see her awfully hard to beat here. Has a great record track and trip and can win here. Race 7 No. 7 Kingshott, No. 6 Speedy Willow and No. 8 Who Told Tuff The Peel Plate Final and like the great Marty Huggins always said, “Bring your broom, cause it’s a mess”. That’s exactly what we have here with inside dogs wanting out early and outside dogs wanting that fence. It all points to collisions that will see some dogs at odds get their chance. The 7 was closing fast last week in a strong run and he’s boxed to get a look here. EW at the very least. The 6 might actually find the arm early and she will prove hard to get from there if that happens. The 8 had no luck last week but recovered superbly to place and is well drawn in this. All three dogs strong hopes at odds and just need some luck. Race 8 No. 4 Little Wildfire The 4 is under rated and getting better. An offset of the box is all that’s needed to see him be the one they have to stop. Race 9 No. 8 Marathon She was super last time and is getting better. Will handle the draw and doesn’t have to lead here. Sustains a strong run home from the middle section and small field a huge plus. The one to beat. Race 11 No. 5 Impress Rocks and No. 7 Danny Heffernan Last chance in this company for the 5. This will show us if he wants to win or not. His very best beats these. Must bring it here. The 7 was a great first up run and will take a stack from that. Expect him to find a bit more and it won’t need to be much to figure in this. Race 12 No. 5 Sunset Serengeti Back to the 488m trip and that’s where she is most dangerous. Can step and find the arm and she is awfully hard to get past when she leads solo. Looks the one with her track form here and should go close. Market Market
