Harry Buchanan’s Tuesday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on January 23, 2024January 23, 2024 | Posted by TABtouch MANDURAH Race 5 No. 7 Heart Emoji and No. 4 Loki Hook The 7 finally broke through two starts back with a strong 22.68 victory off the pink. Well boxed wide here again and can descend on them late after landing close. The 4 is very promising but he takes a step or two to muster up. Still drawn to get a fence run here and hard to hold out with clear running turning. Race 6 No. 8 Spooky Hook and No. 5 Tick Tick Tick The 8 can turn the tables here with the box. He accelerates fast when he gets going and can skate down the outside here to take a forward spot. Will sustain that strong run home and his 22.49 PB will go close in this. The 5 had his measure last week but the draw could level things up here. Hard railing type who will start a last section run home that can be very hard to hold out. Obvious threat. Race 7 No. 2 Sneaky Emoji First heat of the postponed Kanyana Cup and this still looks his to lose. Fast dog who has blistering wins here and while he can take a few stride to get into gear, he drops a big turn of foot up the back that sets up a run home that just runs away from his opposition. Clear running is all that stands between him and advancing to next weeks final. Race 8 No. 2 Ghost Emoji and No. 3 Tweak Freak The 2 draws the same box as what he would have had last week. He’s the real deal and this track will suit him down to the ground. Fair chance he’s seen this place now and that just means more trouble for the rest. He can be tardy early but once balanced, goodness me he can drop a section. Huge hope. If the 3 backs up then she’s a chance. Won at Cannington in a tough race on Saturday and will look the leader here if her form holds up. Hard to catch if she does get the arm solo. The 2 has the attention though. He’s a good dog and if he has seen this track, he’s the one. Race 9 No. 8 Sunset Tyson Boom youngster also stepping out for the first time at this circuit. Lit Cannington up a few times with very fast wins there and only has to handle the corner start and the box to stop these quickly and put them to the sword. Will be short but should justify the quote. Race 10 No. 1 Tarzan and No. 6 Messed Up Mary Only a few hopes in this and these two are the main ones with the other bloke in 3 struggling to run this out lately. The 1 will go close if he lands handy. Has his box and reels off good middle and last sections and just needs to hold up early. As does the 6 who only has the box to offset here. She can come from anywhere in the run and will be up there and hitting the line as well. Big show both of these. Race 12 No. 3 Molotov Boy Well drawn here and this looks no harder than the postponed race he was drawn in last week. Superb effort to score last time and he’s getting better and stronger this bloke. Likes this circuit and will be very hard to stop in this with any early luck whatsoever. Market Market
