Harry Buchanan’s Tuesday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on January 16, 2024 | Posted by TABtouch MANDURAH Race 4 No. 2 Tick Tick Tick Showed how much of a different commodity he is when he has a fence draw with strong victory last start off box 1. Began moderately but drove up hard to take his record to 8: 1-3-4 track and trip. Went 22.39 which means a repeat effort will go close to seeing a repeat result. Race 5 No. 5 Spooky Hook and No. 8 Miss Vivas The 5 is very promising and he was placed in that race won by Tick Tick Tick last week. Performs from a variety of boxes and while he lacks a little dash in the initial part of his races, he does accelerate after 50m to a good muster and sustains that all the way home over this trip. Big big show. The 8 is perfectly drawn here and her early speed and penchant for wide draws sees her a major threat. Will need to find the arm by the first turn but will take no end of stopping if she does. Race 6 No. 1 Sneaky Emoji Put his rivals to a very sharp sword here last time when drawing this box and hunting up inside Paua of Molly to charge away in very fast time. Again drawn to deliver a similar lesson here and while he can be tardy at box rise, he is simply faster than these with the best draw. Clearly the one to beat. Race 7 No. 2 Ghost Emoji 2nd heat of the Kanyana Cup and what a race. The boom youngster in 6 will be tough to stop after some electrifying Cannington wins. He might be fast but he’s never been here. Nor has the 2 but if ever a dog was made for this circuit, you’re about to see it. Coming off a 29.68 at Cannington last start, he is every bit as good and as fast as the 6. He does lack some early dash but with the red going fast here and giving him space so operate, that’s when you will see the nitrous this bloke has under the hood and in spades. First look here the only concern and if he advances, they should look out next week. If he handles this circuit first up, they can look out tonight. Great race. Race 8 No. 6 Extreme Rock and No. 5 Grass Patch The 6 is under rated when he draws wide. He seems to like the open spaces and being outside dogs and this will be run to suit him here with some early splitters inside him. Watch for him to descend late and hit the frame. The 5 is the best dog in the race but she gives weekly master classes on how to throw a race away. Does a lot wrong when things aren’t going her way but on the arm, she would be all but unstoppable here. Take on trust. Race 10 No. 7 Messed Up Mary and No. 3 Escapologist The 7 is ready. Speared out last start but the winner outside her had his box and a little too much early muster which left her too much to bridge in the end. There are no Sunset Blackhawks in this and it’s markedly easier for her. Goes very close here. The 3 will run her usual strong closing race. She seems to enjoy this circuit and she knows how to work into these races with her good run home. Has also been racing some very tough races and will relish the relief in company. Race 12 No. 2 Molotov Boy Super win last week. He just kept finding and showed a lot of maturity for a young dog. Will get a lovely run into the back and he already has a 27.57 on the clock and has much more to offer. Yet to miss a place here at this circuit and is clearly the one to beat. Market Market
