Harry Buchanan’s Thursday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on March 28, 2024March 28, 2024 | Posted by TABtouch MANDURAH Race 5 No. 8 Sunset Pacquiao Well boxed here and will muster up out wide to out himself in the race early. Runs time and will threaten turning for home if he hasn’t already. A lot of speed charging together on the inside will give him his chance. Race 6 No. 2 Molotov Boy and No. 6 All About Rock The 2 has taken the next step at Cannington and arguably goes even better here. Will get up there early and he sticks on and runs time. The 6 has also lifted lately and this circuit is working for him. Strong performer who gets into things quickly up the back here. Hits the frame with any luck. Race 8 No. 6 Scientist and No. 7 Buddy’s Mate The 6 gets relief in company and will push forward as usual to try and lead. Gives a great sight and hard to get past if he gets the arm. The 7 will get dragged over quickly and he’s a force when he lands close. Good effort last time and a repeat sees him threaten. Race 10 No. 8 Buster Moon His form is not good but don’t let that deter you. If this bloke steps and punches up out wide, he can get a spot here and win. Goes a lot better than his form shows and will stun these if he gets the start right. EW at the very least. Race 11 No. 6 Escapologist and No. 1 Stay Amused The 6 will take a lot from her run last time. Had a let up prior and can run into this strongly. Has raced better dogs in the past. Will be a good quote as well. The 1 is well drawn and getting one more go. Disappointed last week over the shorter trip but can atone back to the 400m. Keep her in mind. SANDOWN PARK Launching Pad Final night and a quality card of racing. Race 1 No. 2 Henry Intention Racing well and drawn to be a top two show here. Race 2 No. 7 Cabao Lapis Monster win last time and drawn to give a similar sight. Gets back but has a tremendous last section. Race 3 No. 4 Piccolo Bale Small field suits and can land handy here. Will hit the top two spot with early luck. Race 4 No. 7 Fast Minardi Star Tasmanian who will look to swish straight over and on to the arm. If he does, that’s it and it’s check mate. Race 5 No. 3 Bun Storm and No. 5 Ethanol Water The 3 is a highly promising type who was excellent in her semi. Better drawn and a major force here. The 5 was slightly disappointing last week but she’s better than that and the winner did run some time. She’s a threat. Race 6 No. 6 Humidity and No. 1 Peaky Boo The Launching Pad final. The 6 has a dazzling turn of acceleration and he could skate over here and give these all sorts to catch. The 1 is boxed to give a great show for the SA team and just needs to step well and hold a spot. He’s strong. Race 7 No. 8 Ethanol Volume and No. 7 King Owen The run of the 8 last week was enormous. Boxed to perfection here and will charge over many of these once he gets balanced. The 7 is a long play smokie. Can reel off good middle and last sections and can surprise here EW. Race 8 No. 3 Orli Bale and No. 8 Fred Rose The 3 will go much better back over this trip. Just needs to land close. The 8 was good last time and will find a bit more this week. Can hit the frame at last at a price. Race 9 No. 1 Nitro Harvey and No. 2 Willa Bale The Tassie in 1 will be winning if his best arrives. Boxed to give these too much to catch. The 2 is not at her top but she’s drawn to get her chance to show something here and could land closer. Don’t ignore her. Race 10 No. 1 Dewanna Fernando and No. 2 Funny Old Fellow The 1 finally draws a box and he will be very hard to stop now. Gets a charmed run and keeps coming. The 2 can be a little tardy early but makes good ground and has raced some handy dogs lately. Watch for him late. The red hard to stop here though. Race 11 No. 7 Darnum Diesel Up and coming type who will go well if he gets into a spot. Strong run last week and will look to go one better here if he is close enough to drop his strong run home.
