Harry Buchanan’s Thursday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on February 29, 2024March 7, 2024 | Posted by TABtouch MANDURAH Race 3 No. 7 Heart Emoji and No. 8 Oliver Gundi The 7 well drawn here and just needs a good step to stay close. Hard to hold out in a steady field. The 8 is under rated due to his poor strike rate but that could change here. Has ability and will be strong late and can get up there early. Race 4 No. 6 Zulu Buddy Consistent type who sneaks under the radar most starts. Can lead or come from behind and he runs right through the line over this trip. Just needs a little early luck off the draw and he’s a threat EW. Race 5 No. 5 Clifton Matilda and No. 8 Kingshott The 5 will be any old price but she will step and try and lead here. If they were to jam up trying to get spots behind her she could sneak away with it. Needs a bit to go her way but she’s not hopeless at all. The 8 will go well and he runs his 27.5 or thereabouts to be in the finish. Box is ok and can figure. Race 10 No. 2 Uncompromised and No. 4 Sunset Pacquiao The 2 gets a good map here with the red going fast early and he can track it up. Sustains a strong run home and will deliver a 22.5 to be a frame hitter. The 4 will also challenge early and he has a slippery win here track and trip. If he gets right there he’s hard to stop. Race 12 No. 5 Ghost Emoji and No. 1 Sneaky Emoji On one out ability, it’s the 5, a few lengths to the 1 and many daylights to the rest. These two simply dominate all things equal. The 5 wins if he offsets the box. Thats all he has to do. Can be slow early and that’s the issue. The 1 will take full advantage if the 5 mucks around. SANDOWN PARK Race 3 No. 3 Shayna Bale and No. 5 Piccolo Bale The 3 is promising and when she finds the fence she excels. Can get that here and be hard to stop. The 5 was super first up around two turns. Can only improve and will be running into it stoutly. EW for him. Race 4 No. 3 Rock Me Rocco and No. 1 Container The 3 is close to breaking through. Racing really well and gets a great draw here to put himself into it early. The 1 has a motor and he will be charging into this. Box can help him stay close and get his chance. Race 5 No. 6 Kadence Bale and No. 4 Fabs Vegetable The 6 is ultra consistent and while she can’t draw a box, she knows how to offset them. Trip is ideal and will just keep coming. The 4 has class on his side. If he gets into a striking spot he won’t be stopped here. Can run time. Race 7 No. 2 Spirit World and No. 4 Surprising The 2 was a huge run last start in lower company. This is not that much harder and will be fitter again now. The 4 isn’t hopeless if she was to find the arm. Would go much better and be hard to catch. Dont dismiss her entirely here. Race 10 No. 7 Lornett Express and No. 8 Dewanna Fernando The 7 will determine his fate at box rise. Capable of spearing across and putting these away. Has raced better dogs in the past. The 8 is a big strong sprinter and he’s a winner. Great strike rate and can handle the outside. Runs into his races hard and will take some holding out. Market Market
