Harry Buchanan’s Thursday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on February 22, 2024February 22, 2024 | Posted by TABtouch MANDURAH Race 2 No. 1 Opal Deluxe Fast box dog who is drawn to lead throughout here. A repeat of last start is all that’s required to score and looks hard to stop again. Race 3 No. 4 Heart Emoji Gets her chance in a very limited field. Strong home and if she can stay close at the first turn, these won’t hold her off. EW show at least in a race that wont yield any champs. Race 4 No. 4 Sunset Pacquiao The drop back to 300 the only concern but if he can use his 400m pace and offset this box, he will give a great sight here. His chances determined in the first 25m and worth a spec in this. Race 5 No. 6 Spooky Hook Young speedster who just keeps getting it done. A dazzling turn of foot sees him offset any box and 22.3 on the arm sees him win most times. Still in winnable company and gets the nod again. Race 8 No. 7 Stylish In Black Drawn to sweep up here she can miss all the inside trouble that looks probable. Has gone 22.6 here and could go better and don’t be surprised if she gets up there quickly and sticks right on here. EW prospects. Race 10 No. 7 Zipping Esme and No. 8 Hopeland The 7 will jump fast and look for the arm fresh here. Hard to catch when she gets it and can go well. She will give the 8 the room she needs however and that will give her a chance here. Fast dog when she gets it right and no excuses this time. Race 11 No. 4 Nitro Park Just looks better than these. The box the only thing she has to take care of early and she can put these away. Clear run and she will be winning. SANDOWN PARK Race 3 No. 7 Rock Me Rocco He’s ready to do something here. Last few runs good and with this down to just six starters he gets his chance. Good middle and last section and top two player. Race 4 No. 7 Kadence Bale Drops back from some unlucky runs over the middle trip. Will find the fence and start her work and few can hold her off in this when she’s close. Another genuine top two chance. Race 9 No. 4 Akina Jack and No. 1 Pickled Piper The 4 was a little disappointing last week but he’s too good to dismiss and can atone here. Begins well and hard to mow down on the arm. The 1 is racing better than ever and this is her trip. Can also step but can come from behind if she has to. Watch for her late. Race 11 No. 7 Bomb Murt Small field brings him right into this now. Good strong dog who can reel off splits that will test this field and only needs a touch of luck to score or at least hit top two for the EW play. Market Market
