Harry Buchanan’s Sunday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on July 23, 2023 | Posted by TABtouch CANNINGTON Race 1 No. 1 Bad Influence Found her best form last week when dominating over this track and trip in a very similar race. Showed good dash after stepping only fairly and railed up and under to charge away late. Boxed to repeat as long as she begins ok and therefore should win. Race 2 No. 2 Flash As One and No. 8 Geoff Woke Up The 2 hasn’t seen some form for a while but these are the races he shows up in. Rarely away from the action over this track and trip and will show up early here off the draw. The 8 has hit rock bottom now in terms of easy races so he should be really showing something here. This is the easiest he has faced in a long time. Last week should have been his last chance but it simply doesn’t get as easy as this. One more walk to the well with the bucket. Race 4 No. 2 Post The Zipper and No. 5 Reed Time The 2 only has to navigate a passage here into a clear striking spot up the back. Should that happen, then he will catch up with these boys and girls for a drink at the wash bay because that will be the next time they see him. Looks his race. The 5 is a very big quote for a dog who will descend from the back. Can’t beat the 2 dog in equal terms but can hit the frame late at a price. Place heavy go there as well. Race 5 No. 3 Ranger Ricksen and No. 9 Cash Monelli Thought the 3 would be a lot shorter here. Steps quickly and goes low 16 which most of these don’t. He’s in super form presently and gets the right draw to lead throughout again. Keep an eye on the 9 if he gets a start. Capable of going with these, he would not be without a big show, especially off and inside box. He’s been kept safe too. Race 6 No. 6 Cash Key He doesn’t win out of turn this bloke but he’s going ok for a race like this and can’t e dismissed easily. Has early toe and sticks on well and this isn’t too hard outside of this fav getting on the arm. Will step and give a sight from the outset. Place heavy go EW. Race 8 No. 2 Incredible Aura Best roughie of the day here. Been racing at Northam and not going badly there over the 500 against much better dogs. Distance the only issue here but the box could keep him close and he will be stalking these with a clear run up the back and they will have to pull everything out to hold him off. Another place heavy go on the EW price and can surprise. Race 9 No. 8 Jimali A race void of any strong last sections dogs and with a few of these going for the arm, there could be trouble. Flattened last start at Northam after winning in good style there the start prior. Charged home here 3 back to just miss and will offer a similar run here with any room to operate which he should get. Top two contender. Race 10 No. 6 Kid Kimetto and No. 7 Close Contact A couple at odds to surprise here. The 6 is ultra consistent and under rated. Can lead or come from back and show up early to look for a spot. Can hit the frame. The 7 disappointed last start so he needs to show more this time. Seemed to falter up the back but he’s better than that and could turn it around in this. Needs to however. Small spec on these both. Race 11 No. 6 Gaggle Of Fun Runs a few placings and can do so at least again. Handles all boxes and track and trip are fine for him. Shows up immediately most starts and while he doesn’t have a dazzling turn of foot or run any real time, he won’t have to in this and can be in the finish again with first turn luck. EW as usual for this bloke. Market Market
