Harry Buchanan’s Sunday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on November 5, 2023November 5, 2023 | Posted by TABtouch CANNINGTON Race 4 No. 1 Not Much Kuna and No. 2 Flash As One The 1 is boxed to go very close here. Gets an all time map and just has to show a little bit of pace and she can hold these out. The 2 is a veteran who keeps racing well here. He jumps well and sticks on most days. Still capable of winning. Race 5 No. 1 Rogue Runner Old mate draws 1 again and forgiving him for his last start effort. Not sure he’s entirely suited to this box off this start but he gets room on this map and will have his chance to lead all the way. Good box dog most days. Needs to produce here and he can. Race 6 No. 2 Surprised Fun and No. 5 Rethink It The 2 is enigmatic but when she leads, she unstoppable over the short trip. She is very fast. Needs that arm however and has the box to get it here. If she doesn’t, the 5 will be going fast early as well and gets in well at the grade. Goes all the way if she heads these before the first turn. Race 7 No. 5 Charos Max and No. 7 Provisional Ball The 5 was good last week. Went fast after slightly missing it and hit the frame. Will just need a better step and he can win. The 7 is working towards a victory. Dashes up out wide and he too is only needing a good step here to be a force. Race 8 No. 5 Celestial Gas and No. 8 Whiskey On Rocks While the 5 is better off at Northam, she can do something here and is racing ok recently. Began too well last time and was strung up. Can go better with a cleaner first 50m. The 8 is a graded bird here and she only needs a look to be the one to stop. Better than these but the box isn’t her friend. Class could offset it though. Race 9 No. 4 Flashing Kuna Surely this just wins. These can’t go near her if she gets a clear run. Only beats herself which she is known to do but gee she would have to do something stupid here to go under. She is simply better than them. Race 10 No. 8 Gypsy Rumba and No. 7 Pumping Gas The 8 goes better than it seems and while the box isn’t perfect, she can handle it and will be hard to keep off the frame here if she can get over quickly. The 7 will play for luck but there aren’t many stronger in the run home in this and could hit the frame as well at a price. Both dogs each way shows and good ones. Especially the 8. Race 11 No. 4 Guess Why and No. 6 Luke’s Coal The 4 is due for a step up in trip but she finds the fence quickly here and could rail her way home to a frame spot. She’s fast when she’s on. The 6 the best dog in the race and graded to the win. Just needs to a decent start and clean run early to the first turn. He’s ready to win. Race 12 No. 2 Ash The Flash Shame this wasn’t 380. She’s the best dog in the race but it’s not her trip. Her box manners and early speed may just be enough to keep her close first turn and that would see her hard to stop then. Start critical here.
