Harry Buchanan’s Saturday Greyhound Tips Posted on January 28, 2023January 28, 2023 | Posted by TABtouch CANNINGTON Race 2 No. 1 Orokanui Boxed to give this a huge shake. Goes fast after box rise and was super last start offsetting a really draw. Gets every chance here and kennel rate him tonight. Race 3 No. 8 Block Chain Didn’t get to go around last week but his win prior was tremendous and he’s boxed ok here. Very good in a field and only has to slide over into a handy spot to be a major force late. EW go here. Race 5 No. 8 Solidified and No. 2 Borlotti Monelli The 8 is well drawn, has a good record off the wide boxes and is coming out of the Kanyana cup series where he was very good in heat and final. Can hit the frame. The 2 gets a better draw this time and he will be a threat if he steps and gets right there. Runs time. Hard to beat. Race 7 No. 3 Couch Surfer The real deal this bloke and starting to put it together. One out he would have the comfortable measure of every one of these dogs and now he is stepping better means he gets every hope here. Only has to navigate a passage with a lap to go to win. If he leads it’s 34.5 or better. Looks the one. 8 the clear danger but she has wide runners inside to contend with. Race 8 No. 5 Pudding Monelli This is the next big thing this bloke. Whilst his form doesn’t say that, it is good and he has X factor!! Continues to get better and his last few runs were enormous. Follow him, he’s going places. His draw is ok here and if he lands close first turn, good luck stopping him. Very promising and really shouldn’t miss the podium if he gets his chance. Race 10 No. 5 Daph’s Yak Corner start the only issue. He may have had a look at the track with the break between runs and he’s the best dog in the race. If he does handle the start and offsets the box, he will race away up the back with any sort of clear run. Early stages critical here. Race 12 No. 1 Mr Wick and No. 7 Soul’s Glory The look the two here. If the 1 can hold up early there is only one dog who can run home down and that’s the 7. Even then he would have to be right there. They stand out from the rest with clean runs and the fact the 1 can lead means he gets the slight nod and the 7 gets the save. THE MEADOWS Race 1 No. 3 Trending Xara Looked a little disappointing last week but copped a check at a viral stage and couldn’t recover. Smaller field and easier company means she gets another chance to land handy and run home over these. Race 7 No. 6 Indy Fido and No. 3 Call Me Marley The 6 was excellent last start and he reserves his best for here. Makes a fast run up the back and will look for the fence early. Can surprise here. The 3 looks for the arm early and she will be hard to catch if she gets it solo. In form and can sneak away here. Race 10 No. 8 Jigglypuff Has had no first turn luck her last few and gets one more go here. Easiest field she’s faced in recent times and needs to punch up out wide earlier. If she can she will run home hard here against these. Can hit top-two at odds. Race 11 No. 6 Octavia Bale This has to be it. Probably the easiest race she’s ever faced in her entire graded career. In the city anyway. Is capable of turning it all around in one start here and there can be no more if her best doesn’t arrive tonight. Priced to play EW but must give us something. Race 12 No. 2 Foxtrot Tango He’s going really well this bloke and his run behind a good dog midweek was excellent. Back in trip but can handle it and will sustain a strong run home here. Any first turn luck and he is right in this. Great EW go. WENTWORTH PARK Race 4 No. 4 Nelly Intention She was a very good winner midweek and is again a silly quote here. Leads or can come from back, she is versatile and chases hard. Any luck and close up the back and she will take some holding out here. Race 7 No. 6 Cartel Model Promising young dog and will look to go fast here and lead. Coming off a sub 30 win here last time and will only improve. Start critical where she can offset the draw. Race 10 No. 6 Canya Smoke Them A fraction disappointing last week but conditions were tough and he didn’t look entirely comfortable. Is better than that and if he musters up again he will give a much better showing here, especially if he gets the arm. Race 11 No. 8 Double Baroque Outstanding last week. Loves this box and unbeaten so far off 3 goes from the pink. Goes quick early and holds a straight wide line til he crosses. Highly promising and can repeat last weeks brilliant effort. Looks the one. Market Market
