Harry Buchanan’s Saturday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on March 23, 2024 | Posted by TABtouch CANNINGTON Race 1 No. 8 Girl Hill and No. 2 Timon Lane The 8 broke through last week in style and while the move to 8 presents a challenge, she could get over here. The 2 needs to get into it earlier and he can here. Will keep coming and be a threat late. Race 2 No. 2 Vander Harley and No. 7 Sunset Comanche The 2 was nabbed last by an extraordinary run last week. If she misses the red early, she gets a great map here. The 7 was the one responsible for that run and a repeat sees him win again. Monster run home. Just needs luck. Race 3 No. 4 Lady Dior and No. 3 Coulter Bale A couple at odds here. The 4 has returned in great fashion and she will charge home again along the fence. Don’t dismiss her. The 3 was ordinary last week but he’s better than that. Gets over to the fence as well here and works through gears strongly at his best. Race 4 No. 4 Jelly Monelli Sensational performance in the Galaxy last week to run 2nd. Clear run here in a smaller field and it’s check and mate. The one they have to hold out. Race 5 No. 6 Orokanui and No. 8 Fabs Max Potato Another couple here who can run on from off the arm in what looks a messy race. The 6 could stun here. Boxes aren’t helping but he can get into if he gets across cleanly. The 8 will come from anywhere and is very strong. Will take runs and pass a lot of these when they start to filter back. Both place heavy players. Race 6 No. 7 Sneaky Emoji and No. 2 Skye Monelli The 7 steps up to the middle trip. He gives every indication he will get it and a clear run sees him bolt in. The 2 will surprise. She will enjoy the step up as well and don’t disregard her for the placings. Race 7 No. 2 Savic Another who put in a huge run in the Galaxy. Has this at his mercy and they won’t be stopping him if he goes around untouched. Should walk in. Race 8 No. 7 Touch Of Tommy Would prefer he drew in but he continues to race well and will only need to get around safely into the back and he will go close. Steps well and musters good. Just needs a little room early. Can figure. Race 9 No. 1 Andre Bale and No. 8 Xylan Bale No more excuses for the 1. Boxed to win. Best distance and his VIC 600m form says these get nowhere near him. He just needs to bring it. Wins if he does. The 8 will go a lot better back over this trip. Not sure he quite gets the long distance and will close off well here. Race 10 No. 8 Tahiti Dreams and No. 4 Speedy Willow The 8 will fire out and look to lead. If she spears over and takes up the running, this is over. As it is if the 4 does the same thing and holds her up. Trialled 21.5 here last week and resuming form a let up. A repeat of that gets it done here. Good race to close out. THE MEADOWS Race 2 No. 5 Upon Bale Race 3 No. 7 Pass Mark and No. 6 Henry Intention Race 5 No. 7 Ernie The Brute Race 6 No. 3 Binny Doo and No. 5 Ethanol Extra Race 7 No. 4 Kai Bale and No. 3 Whodat Shanlyn Race 8 No. 1 Magic Muffin and No. 6 Fred Rose Race 9 No. 3 Cabao Jasper Race 10 No. 3 Edsel Bale Race 11 No. 6 Cabao Kyanite and No. 4 Dr Falkor Race 12 No. 6 Funny Old Fellow and No. 4 Nashville Bale WENTWORTH PARK Race 2 No. 2 Cumbria Kid Race 4 No. 4 Leg Speed and No. 5 Go Bears Market Market
