Harry Buchanan’s Monday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on April 1, 2024April 1, 2024 | Posted by TABtouch CANNINGTON Race 3 No. 2 Wise Abalone Gets in real well here and a clean step is all she needs to put these away. Can be a little awkward in a field but has the draw to stay out of trouble and get clear running. Hard to stop here in this company. Race 4 No. 6 Fire Fly Carole and No. 8 Lil Miki Breeze The 6 will look to punch up here and find an early spot near the arm. Sticks on well in this grade and can figure here. The 8 will look to lead and that’s her best chance. Runs good time in front and won’t be caught if she crosses at a good price. Race 5 No. 1 Girls Like You and No. 7 All About Coal The 1 looks well placed here. Made ground last week after early trouble and gets the draw to hold up early here. Just needs her best step to get into the finish. The 7 is coming off some long runs but this field is limited and has questions over their ability to run the trip. This bloke will just keep coming and could run into the placings easily if he’s close. Race 6 No. 1 Big Girl Kiki and No. 2 I’m Upstairs The 1 is boxed to give this an almighty shake. Racing superbly off a variety of tricky draws and will only have to come out on terms here to get a good run and be a threat. The 2 will be a price but could surprise. Can step and get up there early and while he has been sparingly raced, he has ability and can’t be entirely dismissed here. Race 8 No. 2 Polygon Monelli and No. 5 Because Of You The 2 is another who has not raced a lot lately and while she doesn’t win many, she is drawn to run a race at odds and can finish off well to hit the frame here with a little luck. The 5 continues to go well in these races and placed again last start over this trip. Can step better as well so he will be thereabouts again. Race 11 No. 5 Big Girl Velma Frustrating but has talent and can absolutely hit the frame here. Her poor box manners are costly but it does allow her to get the fence quickly and she does run on quickly over this trip when she finds her feet. Running out of chances but looks a winnable race now. Race 12 No. 5 Simone Keeping Just took the smallest misstep last week at box rise but showed great speed to muster into 2nd and hold her position home. Can again dart out here and if she finds the arm this time, it’s check and mate. This is her chance. Market Market
