Harry Buchanan’s Friday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on February 1, 2024February 2, 2024 | Posted by TABtouch MANDURAH Race 1 No. 6 Circle The Scene The box is all that’s stopping him putting this field away. The first 20m critical as he takes a few steps to get going but has a lovely turn of foot after that and only has to land near the arm to get this job done. He’s better than these on equal terms. Looks very hard to stop. Race 2 No. 4 Under She Goes and No. 2 Sequential The 4 going well for the new kennel and she will dart up quickly here again. Handles all draws and begins well most starts. The 2 is the one who will go with her early and they will wrestle it out for the lead here. She does get wide around the corners the 2 so it could gift the 4 a better run. Both dogs can figure here. Race 3 No. 5 Butter Me Up and No. 1 Every Step The 5 has that very good step at box rise and super early pace to back it up. Stuck on solidly last week when another dog just nudged under her first turn. Can lead solo this week. The 1 will surprise here. Another one who steps quickly and could get a lovely rails run throughout. Keeps coming and can get into the finish. Race 4 No. 2 Poppa Monno This is it, and when I say “it”, I mean absolutely no excuses here. Can go much better than his recent form shows and the majority of this field are either slow or 5-6 lengths off the proper stayers with the exception of the 6 but he is still settling in and isn’t ready yet judging by his very steady 488m trial on Monday. The 2 has to produce here or he’s done. Race 5 No. 2 Prime Billie and No. 6 Trendy Miss The 2 ran out of its skin last start and this under rated kennel has these new acquisitions going super. Better boxed this time and get a gun map here. The kennel mate in 6 can also stun these. She will push up out wide and she just keeps coming. If she’s close turning she will be hard to stop. The 2 is a great each way show here however. Race 6 No. 8 Sand Patch and No. 4 Redhead Rider The 8 gets her chance now. Goes fast out wide and is racing well. Copped a first turn check which set he back a little last week but still finished off hard. She’s very hard to beat here. The 4 continues to race better than ever at his age and his early speed has gone nowhere. He is also sticking on well and will be in the frame here with any luck. Race 7 No. 2 Jumpin’ Jules and No. 8 Extreme Rock The 2 did more than enough first up last week and she is ready to step up again. Lacks a little dash over this trip but rails well and keeps finding the line and will stun these with a little luck. The 8 is well drawn again and can sweep into this. Holds a high line and can begin on occasion. He will be out wide and chiming in late and can hit the frame. Race 8 No. 3 Homers Odyssey and No. 8 Kisses For Kaos The 3 needs to show more zest early but he gets a good map here if he does. Goes better than his last run showed and will be a price to play each way. The 8 is flying and the box won’t bother her. Can lead or come from off them and will present up the back if she doesn’t hold the arm. The one to beat again. Race 9 No. 1 Go Seek Katoni Continues on his winning ways and that can keep happening here. Boxed to lead and he’s a very hard dog to get past when he’s on the arm. Will give another great sight and won’t miss top two at the very least. Race 10 No. 6 Ash The Flash She’s a little dynamo this girl. Gives her all every start with her good box manners and while she lacks a little dash over the shorter trips, she is superb in a field and keeps finding her way between dogs to hit the frame. Will again go fast and if they leave her alone, she will give another each way sight and can win. Market Market
