Race 8 No. 8 Blackjackist (Place Heavy)

He has found another gear lately and is right at the top of his game. Landed 2nd last start before unleashing a powerful last section to race away. Only needs to stay out wide and out of trouble to go through the gears and can break 30 easily. His run home won’t be held off if close enough and is a place heavy go here.

BALLARAT

Race 6 No. 1 Jet Legger and No. 6 Pirates Patch

Think we can take this fav on with a couple who go well at Ballarat. The red is boxed perfectly and has a lethal record off box 1. Will drive up early and be hard to stop. The 6 is an under rated sprinter who will behind quickly and stay wide looking to circle these. She has raced some ver handy dogs recently and is very good off a wide draw with her turn of foot after box rise.

Race 8 No. 3 Kanji Giant

The first 100m critical here as he will look to drive up and get into a stalking role before cutting loose in the run home. Has yet to win here but placed 3 times in fast runs and is a recent 29.4 Sandown winner. Has an unrivalled last section if close enough. Best bet and we are getting each way odds to save on the hole.
