Harry Buchanan’s Daily Greyhound Tips Posted on March 31, 2022March 31, 2022 | Posted by TABtouch MANDURAH Race 4 No. 2 Soldado This simply has to be his race. A losing sequence class, he has a stack on his opposition here and only has to come out cleanly to win. Been racing far superior dogs to this and really should be winning easily. Something would have to go terribly awry for him to meet defeat. Race 9 No. 1 Banjo’s Flame and No. 5 Winter Wizard The 1 is quite possibly the most frustrating dog in WA. Walks out most weeks but accelerates brilliantly to catch the field. Box 1 bought her out last start and hoping for a repeat here. If she steps, she goes close. The 5 is underrated and can figure here. He bustles his way through the field most starts and launches late and looks set to do similar here. Capable and will be a price. Race 12 No. 7 No Ideas and No. 8 Mack Attack The map says the 7 pings here and goes over giving the 8 the drag into it. They should then settle down to fight it out. The 8 is perfectly drawn as he stays off the track and the 7 is hard to catch on the arm. One of these should be hitting the frame. Capable of running the quinella. Backing both. SANDOWN PARK Race 3 No. 1 Kelsey Bale and No. 7 Big Opal Rocks A heat of the Launching Pad and the 1 is very promising and already running slick time. Boxed to zoom up early, she’s strong and can reel off big splits. Boxed to figure. The 7 is just as talented and can also run super fractions. Has terrific muster, raced some good dogs already and looks well in here. They will fight it out with even luck. Race 7 No. 2 Old News and No. 5 Rohan Bale The 2 can do anything when given the space to operate. Has raced cup class dogs as well as FFA company here and runs time. Hard to beat. The 5 is looking for further now but he has a monster run home and there could be trouble for him to capitalise on. Look for him to charge home here. Race 8 No. 7 Black Spartacus Big price for a dog who can run the clock into the ground. The box may be the reason but I feel he can offset this and give a forward showing. Goes very well here and has a big gear change up the back. That’s when he will look to pounce. EW go here. Race 9 No. 7 Omega Tyson and No. 4 Orca The 7 ran out of his skin at his first attempt over the trip last week and will find some more again. Can show some early dash and sticks on. Big watch again. Looking for the 4 to show his early dash and get the arm. He’s very hard to get past when he’s left alone in front. Gets his chance here to lead again. Both great EW shows. Race 11 No. 3 Mystify Kick Desperately unlucky last week when he was chopped out at the start and bungled out the back by 5L. Made tremendous ground throughout to finishing 2nd with a descending late run. Only needs to lob a little closer here to figure. Big chance. ANGLE PARK Race 1 No. 3 Weblec Star Creditable first you run over the trip. Looked a little lost through the middle and top and got tired late as well and will derive a stack of benefit from that. Can turn the tables on the fav. Look for her to get up there early and be a little stronger this week with a bit more track experience over this distance. Race 3 No. 4 Weblec Mist and No. 1 Lala Hibiscus The 4 is the best dog in the race. Runs time, has super fractions and only has to stay close to charge away late. Great record here track and trip. Hard to beat. The 1 was good at Gawler and worth a save off the good draw. Makes a fast mid race run and can get the trip. Main show 4 however and save 1. Race 5 No. 7 Pyrotechnic He’s a sneaky hope of leading here at the big odds if he steps cleanly. He’s hard to get past when he does and at the big price, is worth an EW spec. Will need to show dash though and get into a forward position. Race 6 No. 5 On The Tequila and No. 6 Paul Keeping The 5 was superb last week and she can replicate that. Getting better each week, stronger and will look ominous up the back with clear air. Huge show. The 6 is honest and keeps putting in each week. Hits the line hard and will get his chance to run into this up the top. Look for him late. Race 8 No. 1 Springvale Rex and No. 3 Springvale Max The brothers will be hard to stop here off the good draws. Rex has a great box 1 record and will get a lovely sit off the 2 along the fence. Max will also look to track the speed up here and he can unleash super fractions in the run home and he has a lethal record track and trip. Both great hopes. Race 10 No. 5 Midnight Tracker Gets his chance to get back into good form here and win. One of the stronger 500m dogs in this, he can make a fast run up the back to put himself into this. The 1 is the obvious danger but it’s better known over longer and doesn’t win many but there is a reason for that so if the 5 can get in front of it early that will be enough. Start critical. Should hit top 2. Race 11 No. 5 Benitoite There are worse roughies than her to take us out tonight. She can show speed from time to time and there is a chance she leads here. If she does, she will take some catching at big odds. Small spec to see us out at AP. Market Market
