Harry Buchanan’s Daily Greyhound Tips Posted on March 12, 2022 | Posted by TABtouch PERTH CUP AND GALAXY HEATS Tonight we have 6 heats of the Group 1 Perth Cup and 4 heats of the Group 1 Galaxy to be run at Cannington. We will run through each race for quick look at the main chances. Our main plays to follow. Race 1 A few visitors here and the 6 Emani Bale steps up to the distance for the first time. She can stay and looks hard to beat. Has a lovely turn of foot and very good in traffic. Selections: 6-2-7-4 Race 2 The new staying star Mambo Monelli selects himself. 41.50 last time has panels on this field. Favourite to take the final out and we should see why here. Just watch and enjoy. No bets. Selections: 2-1-6-3 Race 3 The 2 Mepunga Ruby is one of the better stayers in the country. First up here shouldn’t concern and wins with a clear run. Experienced in these big races. No betting at the price though. Selections: 2-1-8-6 Race 4 The most open of the Galaxy heats. The 1 Gypsy Wyong was good last week but is that all she has? The 4 Corporal Kuna is a smokie who will go better and the 3 Untapped can run smart front running sections but tire. The 2 Danielle Keeping is under rated. Selections: 4-2-3-1 Race 5 First heat of the cup and the Australian cup champ, Lala Kiwi only has to step cleanly to win. A class act who runs impossible to catch sections. Very hard to stop but is short enough. Selections: 6-2-1-8 Race 6 The 6 Paddy Wants Pats, has a blistering turn of foot and while he is first up at the track, his class should offset that. Runs serious time on the arm. The 3 Got The Sugar was enormous last week and she is the logical threat and worth a bet. Selections 3-6-5-2 Race 7 If this was a regular Saturday night, the 3 Vice Grip would be $1.20 against these. FFA dog taking on graded runners that just aren’t in his class. He wins this heat unless he bungles the start which he never does. Selections 3-1-7-5 Race 8 The Victorian Titan Blazer is an Australian cup finalist and trialled well here last week. He will be ominous with a good first split. The 5 Rostered Off is the forgotten runner. He can step and show up early and he’s strong. Selections: 5-7-8-1 Race 9 The best roughie of the night in 7 Wynburn Burner. Loves being off the track, he can get wound right up here and his big run home will be hard to stop. The 3 Unsee This is looking ready and can run time. Selections: 7-3-5-2 Race 10 A few hopes in the last heat. The 8 Makuru has surprised lately and can use his pace to lead. The 6 Momentum is a gun when at his top and must be respected. The 1 Magic Salute is the run on component here and perfectly drawn. Selections: 8-1-6-3 CANNINGTON Race 1 No. 6 Emani Bale She only has to handle the track to be a force here. Has tactical speed, can stay and very good in a field. Small field suits and hard to beat. Race 4 No. 4 Corporal Kuna and No. 2 Danielle Keeping The 4 is a huge smokie here. Had no idea where he was going last week at his run over this trip. Improvement sees him in this at odds. The 2 will grind home all day. She can stick to the fence and sneak into the top 2 here. Small saver on her. Race 6 No. 3 Got The Sugar Massive player here and only needs to get some first turn luck to hit the podium. If this fav takes a step wrong, the 3 quickly becomes the one to beat. EW bird. Race 7 No. 3 Vice Grip Tipping them at this price helps no one but when he should be much shorter again, he has to be a play. Really should pounce one the arm and put these to bed. Can boost multis and anchor your quaddie. Just wins unless he does something out of character. Race 8 No. 5 Rostered Off Can show his pace here and if they leave him alone through the first turn, he will go through gears and generate a big run home. Will be odds and can break 30 comfortably when clear. EW go here at the price. Race 9 No. 7 Wynburn Burner Still holding an incredibly big price here. Well boxed, can run home in great fractions and will make his presence felt if he can navigate his way up to the leaders approaching the 600s. Place heavy play and monster overs!!! Race 10 No. 1 Magic Salute and 8 Makuru The 1 is boxed to figure here and will make his run up the back and sustain it to the line. The 8 shows great pace and can lead here and will be hard to catch if he does. THE MEADOWS Race 3 No. 7 Ariarne Bale Great effort last week. Can improve again to knock this fav over who only beat her by a head. She has a great middle and last section and shouldn’t miss top 2. Race 4 No. 2 Shanlyn Kim and No. 10 Weblec Wave The 2 is very good and very strong. Runs time and if she holds a striking position into the first turn, will be hard to stop. The 10 will be a big price but is not out of this. Has form over longer and can work into this and challenge late. Race 7 No. 3 Major Giblet and No. 4 Beks Monelli The 3 looks to lead here and he is a hard dog to get past when he does. Grinds away all day and can be there at the end. The 4 is close to a win. Has been superb her last few and unlucky not to get past Orca last Saturday. Both good shows here. Race 10 No. 3 Octavia Bale Finally draws a box closer to the fence. Was making a closing run last week when she was side axed by the kennel mate. Only needs to get a clear look up the back and she will rail home hard to get over these. Looks the best on the card. WENTWORTH PARK Race 5 No. 5 Four Five Has been superb for us here and looks to figure once again. Makes his way through a field quickly and can assert his strength late as he usually does. Great EW hope here. Race 6 No. 5 Bobby The Brute Can turn the tables on this fav after a tremendous effort last time. Only has to get a little luck here and he will be too good for them. Can unleash big sections and looks a major force this week. He really won’t miss top 2 with any luck. Race 8 No. 2 Esther’s Thrill Her best chance to break through at Wenty. Has run sharp time around The Gardens and can use her draw to be prominent here. Must do something tonight as it won’t get much easier. DUBBO We have 4 semis of the Stockman and Paddock Country Classic tonight. There are good roughies in each semi we can have some small goes on. Race 7 No. 1 Line Of Quality Enigmatic but good. If he stays in touch early, will take a power of stopping. Race 8 No. 3 Trunkey Bill The Bulli 590m track record holder. Ridiculous quote here and can storm into it and surprise. Place heavy. Race 9 No. 5 Nimble Lulu Beat a smart field at Grafton to get into this. She can stay and has a terrific strike rate. Big price and worth a crack. Race 10 No. 6 Sunburst QLD visitor who has run some huge races. 14 time winner and won’t be going around to make up the numbers. Market Market
