CANNINGTON

Race 4 No. 5 Pad Up Elyse

If she steps her best then her early speed can put these away. Handles all boxes and her 5.56 early is enough to lead throughout here and she’s been racing better company lately.

Race 5 No. 7 Mango Salsa and No. 2 Believin’ Blade

The 7 was very unlucky not to hold a forward spot last week. She has a super record over this track and trip and can surprise at ridiculously good odds here. The 2 rarely, if ever, misses a place. Ultra consistent and handles all boxes. He will be a force with any sort of clear run here. The 7 is the main play at a silly quote however and best bet.

Race 6 No. 3 Hello I’m Bobby

Has struggled with wider draws lately so this is a welcome change and one that brings him right into this. Has a slippery win here and can show dash when he hops out smartly. Chance to lead throughout here or at least give the leaders something to think about if he lands right on them.

Race 8 No. 6 Fawn Roller and No. 4 Global Gold

The short course weapons here!! The 6 cost himself victory last week when he wanted to shift off at the first turn. He’s jumping well and the move to wider draw should get it done. The 4 showed dazzling pace last start and went on to win in fast time. She’s getting better every start and will look to accelerate quickly again here. Save at odds.

Race 9 No. 7 Close Contact and No. 8 Fundamentalist

Looking for these two to swish over here and take up forward spots with a drag off the 6 who steps quickly. The 7 can run some time when he lands close and he handles wide draws. The 8 keeps hitting the podium and should so again. She also has a good record drawn off and will use the 8 to get into this.

Race 11 No. 7 Sugar Ray Gala

Thought he would be much shorter after demolishing his rivals last start over this track and trip. Same draw, and this isn’t much tougher than last week. Will go fast after lids up and will be the one they all have to catch if he crosses.

Race 12 No. 7 Dozer Can Browse

Simply looks hers to lose. Has the early split, the box and track to put these away. Yet to miss a place here with 2 wins and 2 placings from 4 attempts and has gone fast time for this grade. A good beginning will see her lead throughout.

ANGLE PARK

Race 2 No. 8 Bobby Axelrod

Drawn well here and will look to sweep up before the first turn to get into a striking spot. Placed 3 from 3 here track and trip and was a strong winner at Murray Bridge last time out. Promising and hard to stop here.

Race 3 No. 2 Singin’ Jules and No. 7 Mine Master

The 2 will try and fire out here and if she holds the arm, I’m not sure these can catch her. In fact they won’t. Rarely misses the start and looks the one. The 7 shouldn’t be dismissed here. He shows good dash and sticks on well and he has won his only 2 starts here at this track and trip. Worth a save at least.

Race 10 No. 5 Ripplebrook Snip

He may not have won many here but this is a race he can get into considering he’s raced some handy types recently. Multiple place-getters around this circuit, he will drive up the middle early and he is always strong to the line. EW go here.

Race 11 No. 4 Andy Time and No. 6 Aston Carlos

Tricky race but these two can muster up quickly here. The 4 can show a good turn of foot and when he leads he usually puts them away. Was nabbed by a very smart one last start. Can atone. The 6 won his only try at this track and trip two starts back and won it well. Ran good time and is versatile over all trips. Can drive up into this early and will attack the line.
