Harry Buchanan’s Daily Greyhound Tips Posted on July 3, 2022July 3, 2022 | Posted by TABtouch CANNINGTON Race 4 No. 6 Clowning Fun Consistent performer who has a surprisingly very good record off this box most likely due to his penchant for getting to the middle of the track. Runs his 16.20-30 which wins this with a clean getaway. Can show good muster and rarely misses the podium. Race 7 No. 1 Samba Monelli and No. 4 His Stop It The 1 is boxed to win. Has panels on this field at his best and his last start at Mandurah was again super after walking out. He does begin better here at Cannington and only has to land close to win. He should do that. The 4 is a sneaky hope here and has some strength about him. Is dropping back from the staying trips but he’s versatile and will be strong late. Save there. Race 8 No. 1 Sassy Blade Well it’s been an age between drinks for the Sass and while a wider box may be better off the corner start, you can’t deny she’s been racing much tougher dogs than this. Hinto, Our Dream Girl and Refined would all be $1.10 in this and she isn’t been all that bad against them for her level. Will be looking for runs up the back but will run her 22.1 and that would get it done here. If this was 520m, Sassy would be much shorter to notch up her 2nd victory. Small spec play and hope she gets into it early. Race 9 No. 1 Dirty Harry and No. 3 Charos Reward The 1 has been the recipient of a superb turnaround from the Cook kennel in recent months. Gone from being an OC to a dog who really puts in now and wants the win. He can hold a forward slot here from the inside and if he is top couple up the back, will descend late. Save on the 3 whose best form would just win this. Has a very fast turn of foot up the back and can run time when she’s on. Race 11 No. 2 Fundamentalist and No. 7 Sensationalism The 2 is ready and just needs that luck into the back straight to be a force here. Gets a lovely map here on the fence and can run into this quickly with any luck. The 7 was sensational (pardon the pun) last start. His best is very hard to beat when he gets on that arm and can also come from back. Gets a cart over off the 6 here and makes him hard to beat. Race 12 No. 1 Turtle Fernando We are betting on him holding the arm. Not as committed off it and not known for going past other dogs late, he has the draw to drive and hold here. Will run enough time to get it done with an outright lead as evidence by his 16.16 best. SALE Race 4 No. 2 Courteous Reiko Has a motor that defies belief some days. Been tested over the 600s with good results but is unbeaten only start here in blistering time and boxed to land closer than usual. A clear run will see her unstoppable with that run home she has. Race 5 No. 6 Ruffiano A Sale specialist with an electric turn of foot off the mat when he isn’t touched. Will make a fast wide run to the short first turn here and only has to cross or land close to win. Missed a place only once in 7 tries here with 3 wins and unbeaten at the trip. Hard to beat. MURRAY BRIDGE Race 1 No. 2 Locked Good move bringing him back to the 530m as he is versatile enough to handle it and has the draw to capitalise in this small field. Can run along when clear and can also come from back. Boxed to give a huge sight here and give these a stack to think about. Will be charging through the line. Race 6 No. 8 Strike Eagle Under rated smokie who can figure here. Has run better races than most think and he gets a chance to muster up out wide and when he sees that arm, he’s a different dog. The kennel change is also key. Will sneak under everyone’s radar here with an ounce of luck. Race 9 No. 2 Yankee Constanza and No. 5 Spring Port The 2 was super last week in his heat and just lost the turn at his first up look. Different story this week. Boxed to go very very close here. Best bet. Have a save on the 5 who also went well here first up and has some fast wins to his credit. Will improve again and prove hard to throw. The 2 will be winning with any luck however.
