Harry Buchanan’s Daily Greyhound Tips Posted on May 7, 2022May 7, 2022 | Posted by TABtouch CANNINGTON Race 2 No. 1 Throttle Opened up silly black odds and now just under yours for theirs. Boxed to win. May even punch up and land closer than most think. Future star who races beyond his years already. Can cut some time tonight and looks the one. Race 5 No. 6 West On Finn and No. 5 Miss Bandit Looking for the 6 to step better and dash up here. If he finds the arm he will do his best work and be hard to catch. The 5 is under rated and will keep coming. She is strong and her last start was super behind Manzu. Race 6 No. 8 Poppa Monno Well he has his box that’s for sure. That could be critical here on a potentially messy map. Stays out wide, out of trouble and rounds them up. Will sweep into this and the sooner her gets there the more trouble these are in. EW all day. Race 9 No. 7 Izuku Best bet. Did more than enough first up over the trip last week and only has to find a little more to win here. Expect him to land just behind the front runners early then go through his gears with a strong last section. Looks a bird to hit top 2 and for that he will be the best play of the night. Race 10 No. 7 Bad Desire Can be tardy early but if the breaks come, he will descend on these. Boxes don’t matter and he will start his long run as they work into the back. Any sight of the arm and the leaders will be looking behind them for this blokes last section. EW at odds. Race 11 No. 8 Pennywise Cost us dearly as an odds on shot last week but going to forgive that and give him another chance. Can handle the 8 box as he all but got over a few starts ago in tougher company. Will be a silly price and with an EW ticket on ability alone. Just needs to step better this week. THE MEADOWS Race 6 No. 7 Emani Bale and No. 6 Ariarne Bale The kennel mates look hard to beat here. The 7 has dazzling middle and last sections and this is her pet trip. Can be unstoppable when wound up. The 6 is having a crack at the trip for the first time but racing like she is desperate for it. 7 main play with save on 6. Race 7 No. 4 Tobin Frost He has some tricks but just as much ability. Will start his run when clear and can reel off amazing fractions mid and late race. Races well here and only missed a place once from 7 at the track and trip. Huge show. Race 10 No. 6 Courteous Reiko Goodness me she has some talent. The box is the only thing she has to offset here. 29.2 at Sale last start was superb and she has come from some hopeless positions to win in the past. Only needs an ounce of luck here and will take all sorts of stopping. Race 11 No. 4 Orson Avery and No. 6 Daylen Bale A couple of smokies to take us out here. The 4 is better than her form shows and if she gets any first turn luck, she will be right in the finish. The 6 has snuck under the radar here. Raced better opposition than this recently and only has to handle the draw to be a major threat. Has won here in good time. Both good EW shows. WENTWORTH PARK Race 4 No. 1 Mckeon Bale and No. 6 Garden Party Looks a massive hope off the box. Will improve out of sight off her heat win and she’s the one they all have to beat. Can run the clock into the ground when she’s on song. The 6 can sneak home into the placings here with a big last section. Race 5 No. 3 Quinlan Bale Superb effort last week and finds more again here. Can show a turn of foot and when he gets room to operate and can reel off big sections. Well drawn and only has to hold his spot early to be a threat. Race 8 No. 8 War Weapon Big smokie play here at $51. Ran out of his skin in his semi and drawn to get his chance again in this consolation. Strong to the line, has run good time on other tracks and in great hands. Place heavy go here at a big quote. WENTWORTH PARK PREVIEW Race 1 Open 5th Grade race to kick off MDC night. Expect pace from 2,3 and 8 with the 2 She’s A Hotshot having a quick first split and coming out of a MDC semi after leading. Closers from the back will be 4,5,6, and with none really looking capable of breaking the 30 sec barrier, it’s anyone’s race. Selections: 5-2-6-4 Race 2 The MDC Maiden Final with some inexperienced youngsters lining up. The wraps on a few of these are big as always and some impressive heat runs were on the cards. The 1 Our Boy Duke used box 1 to win his heat as the fastest qualifier and looks set to repeat. The 4 We Don’t Share looks the danger again and will find a lot more this week. 3 and 6 round out the minor hopes. Selections: 1-4-3-6 Race 3 A 3rd/4th Grade with some quality dogs engaged and several chances. The 4 comes out so we look for a new leader. The 7 Opal Model is well drawn wide and begins quickly while the 6 Panorama can go much better on the clock than she has shown but is coming off a fall. If she is right then she’s a big show. 2 and 3 have claims. Selections: 6-7-2-3 Race 4 The Group 3 Ladies Bracelet. The 1 Mckeon Bale was superb in her heat. Felt her way around slightly and extended late to score. Will improve a stack on that and boxed to win. 3 and 5 will both look to go forward early and can run time in front. The 6 Garden Party is the big smokie and will storm home. Selections: 1-6-3-5 Race 5 The Group 3 Bob Payne Sprint final. The 3 Quinlan Bale was a tremendous heat winner when using box 1 to defeat Lektra Lad. Can go much quicker and the look at the track will now see him find a lot more this week. Fast dog on the arm. Plenty of chances around him including the 1 Grim Madara, but he wants the middle of the track so box 1 will be a challenge. 2,5,8 all have claims with any sort of luck. Selections: 3-8-1-5 Race 6 The Masters Meteor final with some tremendous veterans engaged. The 4 Sunburnt Highway is a genuine Wentworth Park superstar. Going for his 40th win at the track at almost 6 years of age, it would be fitting to see him take out this $100K feature at this, his final start. He gets some strong company here though in 3 Kooringa Lucy. She is still capable of matching graded company and will be very hard to beat. The 1 is perfectly boxed along with chances to the litter mates in 5 and 8. Selections: 3-4-1-5 Race 7 The Group 3 Gold Cup final for the stayers. The 5 Zipping Kansas stood up last week in his heat and showed his true ability. Unleashes a massive mid race sprint to put himself in a winning spot. He gets harder competition here however. The 6 Super Estrella will pounce out quickly and look to lead. The 3 improves a stack this week and will be thereabouts. Place hopes to 1,4 and 7 Selections: 5-3-6-7 Race 8 The MDC Consolation. The 9 Castle Warrior going into box 4 changes the run to the first turn here. He goes very fast off the mat and will look to lead with 6,1 and 7. The big smokie here is in box 8 War Weapon at any old price. He was outstanding in his semi and is a blowout hope here. Well boxed and can shock these with any luck. The 2 and 3 look to run into this late and the 7 looks the strongest of the leaders. Selections: 8-2-3-7 Race 9 The Million Dollar Chase grand final. Someone’s life is about to be very different in the space of 29.4 seconds and that will be She’s A Pearl. Taken all before her including an Egg final, her impeccable box manners, early speed and sheer strength make it almost impossible for the others to beat her. She would have to make the error for them to beat her, but when comes to making an error……she simply does not. The 3 Photo Man is future top line gun. Has ridiculous talent already and if given the chance, would run 29.50 here. He’s a genuine competitor here. The 5 Good Odds Cash is a wonderful little chaser and she’s just that rung below the fav. She will not give an inch however and will begin fast and be there throughout. The 1 Coast Model will go fast early and can pressure this fav momentarily. That’s where it should end though for her if the fav is untouched. 2,6,8 all look to run on but will need a lot of luck to figure. The 7 would be a fairy tale and it’s just incredible for connections that he gets to give them this thrill and he will do them proud regardless. It will however, be a million dollar Pearl all things being equal. Selections: 4-3-5-6 Race 10 An open 5th Grade to take us out. The 8 Yuko Girl goes quickly and looks to cross here. Hard to catch when on the arm. 6 is racing well, 2 is in easier company this time and both 4 and 5 work home well. The 7 Four Five is the blowout chance of this lot at double figures and will run a great race with a little luck. Selections: 7-8-2-5 Market Market
