Chris Parnham goes on and expecting he’ll be much more suited in a small field. SAKER was solid first-up over an unsuitable trip. Expect he’ll improve sharply and compete strongly. INFATHUATED ran well last week with the blinkers on. FATHNOXIOUS leads and is the one to run down. Numbers – 7 – 3 – 6 – 4 Suggested Bet – FREMOND AND SAKER RACE 2 BOLD SUCCESS raced out of his comfort zone in the breeze last start and stuck on well. Expect he’ll find some cover in this race and be hard to hold out. STORM DANCER is banging the door down to post his second career win. The mile should be ideal. VEUVE DE VEGA and WRINKLY have claims racing on the speed. Numbers – 4 – 10 – 2 -1 Suggested Bet – BOLD SUCCESS AND STORM DANCER RACE 3 RHI’S ROCKET resumes from a long spell for his new trainer Lindsay Smith. He showed plenty of toughness and speed when last in work. He’s trialled well and if he races to anywhere near his best he gives this a big shake. TENTERDEN has been in career best form all campaign. He can kick through to lead. RADIANT GIRL returns from a freshen-up. She can park just behind the speed and finish strongly. BRACKETS is a capable sprinter who races well fresh. Numbers – 7 – 5 – 11 – 3 Suggested Bet – RHI’S ROCKET AND TENTERDEN RACE 4 DEBELLATIO looks an exciting colt. He improved sharply at his second career starts parking wide throughout and sprinting clear under a hold. He’s drawn wide again but expecting Daniel Staeck to ride him positively and if he can land a spot one off the fence he should win. RIASC looks the danger. He toughed it out last start after sitting wide throughout. SOUNDCHECK has ability and Pike rides. KEEPER KEN next best. Numbers – 3 – 2 – 6 – 1 Suggested Bet – DEBELLATIO WIN RACE 5 This looks a very weak running of the Natasha Stakes. Going for LATAKIA FRIARS who comes from a different form line to the main chances. She was a strong winner over 2038m at Bunbury before dropping back in trip and running an eye catching second in a fast run 1800m. She’s screaming out for this trip. FONTAINEBLEU was caught wide and run a brave fourth in the 1000 Guineas. From gate 1 she can get the run of the race and go close. VERY TEMPTING is screaming out for the trip. She looks on track for the Oaks. JUST LIKE FIRE next best. Suggested – 9 – 4 – 3 – 2 Suggested Bet – LATAKIA FRIARS EACH-WAY RACE 6 GALAXY STAR should atone for her luckless last start defeat. The bigger field should ensure we won’t see a repeat of a leader being able to pinch an enormous mid race lead and with Pike he will likely keep her wide and out of trouble. She should gobble these up and win. PUSHIN’ SHAPES looks a strong place hope off the back of a close to career best win fresh at Bunbury. FORESEEN can lead and give a sight. HELM’S GATE has place claims. Numbers – 6 – 3 – 4 – 5 Suggested Bet – GALAXY STAR WIN RACE 7 Gun filly SEANNIE should be adding another black type win to her name in this year’s Gimcrack Stakes. She returned in a blaze of glory when putting a good field to the sword in the Perth Stakes. The wide gate suits as she can stay out of trouble and use her massive late closing speed. The stable mate VERY ANGRY GAL looks the logical second pick. Her debut win was full of merit and she has trialled well. LUCY MAE can give a sight on the speed. RESISTANCE a first-four chance. Numbers- 2 – 3 – 1 – 11 Suggested Bet – SEANNIE WIN (SUPER PICK PROFIT PLUS) RACE 8 This looks close to a raffle to finish the program. SHINTA MANI is a talented stayer when right. She hasn’t got warm yet but should appreciate the step up in trip. ROYAL SUPREME is hard to catch but Pike going on looks a big plus. WAR KSAR should appreciate the jump back up in trip.
