Trent’s Gloucester Park Preview Posted on October 6, 2016October 9, 2016 | Posted by Trent Cooper Trent Cooper’s Preview Race 1: RETRAVISION MS PACE CALAIS (12) has finished just behind the placegetters at his last four starts in stronger fields than what he meets here. He resumes from a spell with the benefit of a solid 3rd in a recent Wanneroo trial and should be hard to beat. BLISSFUL BOY (4) has been unplaced at his last six starts but his efforts have been sound and he will give them something to catch if he finds the front. THE STORM CHIEF (8) is racing well and will be suited if the tempo is solid. ARRIENS (1) has finished down the track at his last three starts but could improve from the pole. Tips: 12 4 8 1 Suggested Bet: CALAIS (12) to win. Race 2: WESTRAL MS PACE ZACHARIA (11) has been placed at two of his last four starts, including a solid 3rd to Ona Happy Note. He has a nice trailing draw and should run a big race in a wide open affair. MIGHTY MAJOR (7) has started a short priced favourite at his last two starts and finished near the rear on both occasions after leading but can improve. THE MARBLE RIDGE (1) led throughout six starts back and could be a player from this draw. BERT THE BOOKIE (12) is racing very consistently but has a back line draw to overcome. Tips: 11 7 1 12 Suggested Bet: ZACHARIA (11) each way. Race 3: PRINCI BUTCHERS THE PREUX CHEVALIER QUALIFYING HEAT 1 CHICAGO BULL (2) is the best horse and has the barrier so he should just lead and win. RYCROFT (4) is clearly the 2nd pick but may have to do it tough outside of the favourite. KINDA BLACK (12) was unlucky last start after some consistent form and can be placed. ELISEOS FALCON (1) should get a perfect run on the back of CHICAGO BULL (2) until the towrope snaps. Tips: 2 4 12 11 Suggested Bet: CHICAGO BULL (2) to win. Race 4: DEL BASSO SMALLGOODS MS PACE BETTOR OFFER (8) has been unplaced at his past nine starts but showed something like his best when a close up 5th to Ima Connoisseur last week. This represents a drop in class and he would be hard to beat if he reproduced that effort. NICNAK PADDY WAK (7) has won two of his last four and was held up last start and must be considered. WALTER JAMES (3) and ROCKY MARCIANO (2) are both a bit one-paced but are strong and have the draws to be competitive. Tips: 8 7 3 2 Suggested Bet: BETTOR OFFER (8) each way. Race 5: HI TEMP SERVICES MS PACE BUNGALOW BILL (3) hasn’t missed a place in his last six starts despite having tough runs on most of those occasions. He faced the breeze and was too good last start in 1.55.0 and is up to the rise in class. COMMANDER CHAPEL (2) took his losing sequence to 11 but was a brave 2nd to Delightful Offer last start and would be hard to catch if he found the front. FOUR LEGGED FRENZY (1) is racing in career best form and is drawn to get a lovely run. TACT MAJOR (10) has won 8 of his 16 starts and will be dangerous if he gets out in the last lap. Tips: 3 2 1 10 Suggested Bet: BUNGALOW BILL (3) to win. Race 6: SLATER GARTRELL SPORTS MS PACE DELIGHTFUL OFFER (7) showed he was back to something like his best last start when he worked to the breeze and recorded a 1.56.3 win over the 2536m journey. He steps up in class tonight but has plenty of ability. IMA CONNOISSEUR (12) is flying and has recorded wins at his last four starts but can’t utilise his gate speed from this draw. BRONZE SEEKER (10) loves this draw and will be dangerous if he gets a split at the right time. MIGHTY FLYING THOMAS (1) disappointed last start but has led throughout to beat stronger company. Tips: 7 12 10 1 Suggested Bet: DELIGHTFUL OFFER (7) each way. Race 7: JP STRATTON CUP MS PACE BEAUDIENE BOAZ (6) bounced back to his brilliant best with a dominant track record win last start. He is drawn the widest of the main chances but still has to be considered the one to beat. LIBERTYBELLE MIDFREW (1) led throughout to beat a similar field last start and has the draw again. BETTORS FIRE (2) was beaten but far from disgraced last week and should be thereabouts again. THE BUCKET LIST (4) was enormous when running 2nd to LIBERTYBELE MIDFREW (1) and can win with the right run in transit. Tips: 6 1 2 4 Suggested Bet: BEAUDIENE BOAZ (6) to win. Race 8: CHOICES FLOORING MARES MS PACE HIDDEN BAD (5) was a strong winner two starts back and then faced the breeze when a solid 3rd last week. She might get a more favourable trip and should be hard to beat. GIULIANA RANCIC (6) was going to win the no race two weeks ago and was then a fair effort from a wide draw and is due for a change of luck. NOWUSEEMEGIRL (2) led throughout for a comfortable win in easier company last start and must be respected. ROYAL MYTH (1) had a tough run at her first run back from a spell and should be a big improver from the pole. Tips: 5 6 2 3 Suggested Bet: HIDDEN BAD (5) each way. Race 9: PAV EVENTS MS PACE CHAR DO NEIGH (9) has been victorious in four of his last six starts and resumes here from a freshen up. He is drawn wide but the small field suits and he looks to have a class edge on his rivals. BETTER THAN MONEY (4) is one-dimensional but will give some cheek if he finds the front. MAJOR DANCER (2) was well driven to win last start and should be about the place again from his good barrier. TAJIES GIRL (1) was a good 2nd in quick time last start and must be considered from the pole. Tips: 7 5 9 6 Suggested Bet: CHAR DO NEIGH (9) to win. Race 10: INTERNATIONAL ANIMAL HEALTH PRODUCTS WESTBRED MS PACE SHEER ROCKNROLL (12) has bounced back to her best form and has won four of her last five. She will be giving her main rival a start and looks set for s tough run but she can still run a big race. KURIOUS (2) led throughout to beat a stronger field last week and is the one to beat. MAKO SHADOW (9) is flying but will settle near the rear and needs a solid tempo. NO MORE CHANGE (1) looks like getting the perfect run and is a good place chance. Tips: 12 2 9 1 Suggested Bet: SHEER ROCKNROLL (12) to win. SuperPick - Race 10 No. 12 SHEER ROCKNROLL - Money Back – Run 2nd Bet Now
