Trent’s Gloucester Park Preview Posted on September 2, 2016September 5, 2016 | Posted by Trent Cooper Trent Cooper’s Preview Race 1: FULLER FITNESS SUBIACO MARES MS PACE FOXY DAME (6) has been placed at 18 of her 29 starts and was impressive at her return from a spell when she led throughout at Northam. This field has more depth and she is unlikely to find the front but should still give a great sight. Stablemates AUCTIONEERS ELSU (2) and ITS MY LUCKNOW (1) have both been racing consistently and are drawn to be in the finish. HIGHVIEW JACKIE (12) drops in class for this but has to contend with a back row draw. Tips: 6 2 1 12 Suggested Bet: FOXY DAME (6) each way. Race 2: SOUTH PERTH LIONS RLFC MS PACE THE REVOLUTION (7) had no chance at his first run after a break when he sat back in the field and couldn’t make ground when Chicago Bull ran home in 56.0. He has raced in stronger fields than this and should prove hard to beat tonight. SPECTACTULAR (8) hasn’t been disgraced at his first three starts back from a long spell and should break through soon. KHUN RATHA (6) is race fit and drawn inside his main rivals so should make his presence felt. CHANGEABLE (1) would be competitive from this draw if he raced up to his best form. Tips: 7 8 6 1 Suggested Bet: THE REVOLUTION (7) to win. Race 3: BAILEY,TOBY,JONAH SULLIVAN MS PACE BLINDING LIGHT (10) was a good winner in 1.55.8 last start when he enjoyed a nice trip in transit. He is drawn to get a lovely run again tonight and will be hard to hold out if he sees daylight in the last lap. VERTICAL FOUR (1) looks the likely leader and should give a great sight in front. TOPNOTCH MACH (3) ran a much-improved race when 3rd to Beaudiene Beaufighta at his last start and must be considered on that effort. THREE KINGS (2) has been placed at his last two and shouldn’t be far away again from his nice draw. Tips: 10 1 3 2 Suggested Bet: BLINDING LIGHT (10) to win. Race 4: DON`T BE SILLY, CALL SULLY 0414 733 083 MS PACE BOUNTY EYRE (2) hasn’t finished closer than 7th at his last five starts but has been taking on the likes of Our Jimmy Johnstone and Ricimer and will appreciate this draw and the drop in class. LORD LOMBO (3) is another with poor numerical form who drops a long way in grade for this assignment. LOCAL ROGUE (1) hasn’t been racing well but looks the likely leader and can improve. His stablemate, MAJOR DANCER (10), is drawn to get a nice run and should be thereabouts. Tips: 2 3 1 10 Suggested Bet: BOUNTY EYRE (2) to win. Race 5: MAUREEN CLEMENT MEMORIAL MS PACE DELIGHTFUL OFFER (9) resumed from an injury-enforced layoff with a solid 4th to Ideal Justice. He has raced against considerably stronger fields than this and should be capable of overcoming the wide draw. WALTER JAMES (10) has been unplaced at his last six starts but will appreciate a drop in class and must be considered. TOMMY BE GOOD (8) has done things wrong at his last two but is capable of being in the money. MUST BE NICE (1) hasn’t been at his top recently but should be a big improver from the pole. Tips: 9 10 8 1 Suggested Bet: DELIGHTFUL OFFER (9) to win. Race 6: WA MEN OF LEAGUE MS PACE DELIGHTFUL JADE (8) has won two of her last four starts and is showing the strength needed to overcome this draw. She has blistering gate speed but has been racing well when not used early so her driver has options at the start. IMA TRAGEDY (12) won in 1.53.8 four starts back and hasn’t been too far away at his subsequent runs and can figure. SPRINGSTEEN (1) hasn’t won for almost three years but has ability so monitor the betting. MY SAMANTHA JANE (5) is the best of the rest. Tips: 8 12 1 5 Suggested Bet: DELIGHTFUL JADE (8) to win. Race 7: SULLY`S PAINTING NEW SEASON PACE PHOENIX WARRIOR (9) was a good winner three starts back and has finished just behind the placegetters in strong company at his last two. He is drawn wide but can be put into the race and should make his presence felt. OUR BLACKBIRD (12) hasn’t come back to his best but he was an Inters finalist and this is a drop in class for him. BILLIES A STAR (8) is the other class runner of the event if things fall his way. THAT’S RITE (1) is a different horse in front and gets that opportunity tonight. Tips: 9 12 8 1 Suggested Bet: PHOENIX WARRIOR (9) to win. Race 8: LEAGUE TALK ON SPORTFM 91.3 MS PACE IDEAL JUSTICE (1) faced the breeze when a strong winner in a good field two starts back before a close-up 5th to Risk last week. He looks likely to get a soft lead and will be extremely hard to catch. BUNGALOW BILL (7) is racing extremely well including an easy all the way win at his last start but is likely to be working considerably harder than the favourite. LADY WILLOUGHBY (4) is very consistent and shouldn’t be far away. SAY IT NOW (2) is likely to be on the leaders’ back and can be placed. Tips: 1 7 4 2 Suggested Bet: IDEAL JUSTICE (1) to win. Race 9: NRL WA ON THE WAY CONDITIONED HANDICAP SS PACE NAUGHTY MARAVU (5) was a solid 2nd in the Marathon before finishing a short half head away from the deadheaters, PAY ME CULLEN (7) and ASSASINATOR (6), last week. He meets those pacers on 10m better terms tonight and should give a great sight. PAY ME CULLEN (7) faced the breeze in that event last week and will be hard to beat again. SKY ART (1) is the lone front marker and has the turn of foot to be very dangerous in a rare stand appearance. OUR JERICHO (9) beat most of these in the Marathon and can overcome the back mark. Tips: 5 7 1 9 Suggested Bet: NAUGHTY MARAVU (5) to win. Race 10: YOU GOTTA LOVE YOUR RUGBY LEAGUE WESTBRED QUALIFYING HEAT 1 MS PACE SHEER ROCKNROLL (7) lost her way for a little while but is back on top of her game with wins at her last three starts. This is actually a drop in class on last week’s 9.2m win and she looks extremely hard to beat. JASMIN AMAL (10) ran 2nd to SHEER ROCKNROLL (7) in that event and looks the main danger again. KUROUS (1) won in 1.55.9 from this barrier three starts back but is better suited over the sprint trip. JUMPING AT SHADOWS (5) has ability and is the best of the rest. Tips: 7 10 1 5 Suggested Bet: SHEER ROCKNROLL (7) to win. Bet Now
