Trent’s Gloucester Park Preview Posted on November 16, 2017 | Posted by Trent Cooper Trent Cooper’s Preview Race 1: TABTOUCH INTER DOMINION STARTS NOV 24 MS PACE COURAGE TELLS (4) is a 10YO who hasn’t finished closer than 7th in his six runs this season but gets his chance here. He has been racing against considerably stronger opposition and will appreciate the drop in class. REAL ZEAL (1) won a similar event in August from this barrier and must be considered. SPRINGSTEEN (11) hasn’t won for over a year but trialled nicely at Byford recently and could be an improver. AUCTIONEERS ELSU (12) has been racing in strong mares’ company and will be running on. Tips: 4 1 11 12 Suggested Bet: COURAGE TELLS (4) to win. Race 2: TABTOUCH INTER DOMINION HEAT NIGHT TWO NOV 28 MS PACE EL MACHINE (11) wasn’t suited when leading and knocking up to finish 5th two starts back but ran on well to finish 2nd to Im Rockaria last week. He is suited by the trailing draw and will be finishing hard. BRAEVIEW BOMBER (10) disappointed as a short priced favourite last week but would be right in this if he can reproduce his previous run. AUSSIE DELIGHT (6) couldn’t get into the race at his first start back from a spell but looks better suited tonight. LISHARRY (3) is the class runner of the field and would win this if anywhere near his top. Tips: 11 10 6 3 Suggested Bet: EL MACHINE (11) each way. Race 3: TABTOUCH INTER DOMINION ITALIAN FIREWORKS NIGHT DEC 1 MS PACE LETS CHASE THE DREAM (2) showed us what he is capable of with a comfortable 1.55.4 victory at Pinjarra on Monday. He may not get to the front as easily tonight but still looks the testing material. COSTA DEL MAGNIFICO (1) has impressed in his three WA runs and proved he was up to this class with a close up 4th in a hot field at Pinjarra. He has the advantage of the pole draw and must be considered. ZACH MAGUIRE (9) will be giving his main rivals a start but will be flooding home. BRONZE SEEKER (4) looks a place chance. Tips: 2 1 9 4 Suggested Bet: LETS CHASE THE DREAM (2) to win. Race 4: TABTOUCH INTER DOMINION GRAND FINAL DEC 8 MS PACE LIVURA (8) was a good winner in easier company before not being able to get into the race when the winner went 1.54.8 last start. They won’t go as quick here and he can look to bounce back. YOUR EXCUSED (1) is in career best form and recorded four consecutive placings before winning well last start and should give them something to catch. TACT MAJOR (7) has shown plenty of ability but is first up from a 12 month break without a trial so monitor the betting. KING LEBRON (6) is racing well enough to feature in the finish. Tips: 8 1 7 6 Suggested Bet: LIVURA (8) to win. Race 5: WWW.PERTHINTERDOMINION.COM.AU THE KERSLEY QUALIFYING HEAT 3 MS PACE OHOKA DARCY (2) beat Our Zak Whitby five starts back and ran a nice 3rd to Tanaka Eagle at his latest effort. This looks an easier assignment and he appeals as the one to beat. JAMES GALLEON (7) settled at the rear but wasn’t beaten far when 6th last week and should be fitter for that run. OUR JACCKA MARA (1) led throughout from this draw before being held up last week and looks a player again. WEBB ELLIS (10) led throughout to win in good time last start and should get a nice run in transit. Tips: 2 7 1 10 Suggested Bet: JAMES GALLEON (7) each way. Race 6: BOOK YOUR HOSPITALITY FOR THE 2017 TABTOUCH PERTH INTER DOMINION NOW GOLDEN NUGGET PRELUDE HERRICK ROOSEVELT (5) brought up his 9th win from 13 race starts when he ran on strongly to beat ROCKNROLL LINCOLN (2) in a strong field at Pinjarra. He is awkwardly drawn but has the strength to give a great sight. SPACE JUNK (10) has impressed in winning his two WA starts and looks capable of matching the rise in class. ROCKNROLL LINCOLN (2) has shown considerable promise in his two WA runs and is a horse on the rise. OUR ZAK WHITBY (3) is flying and would give them something to catch if he finds the front. Tips: 5 2 10 3 Suggested Bet: HERRICK ROOSEVELT (5) to win. SuperPick - Race 6 no. 5 HERRICK ROOSEVELT - Money Back Race 7: PAT CRANLEY MEMORIAL MS PACE RUN ONEOVER (5) has been unplaced at his past five starts due to a combination of bad barriers and the way the races have been run. He drops in class here and will be a big chance if he goes forward at the start. RUB OF THE GREEN (1) has been unplaced at his past three starts, all from handicaps in standing start events, and can be a big improver from the pole. AMERICAN BOY (8) has been impressive in leading throughout to win two of his past three but will find it harder from out here. RYCROFT (4) will race better closer to the speed here. Tips: 5 1 8 4 Suggested Bet: RUN ONEOVER (5) to win. Race 8: TABTOUCH MS PACE TALKTOMEURMATTJESTY (2) created a big impression last campaign, including a 1.56.4 win over Kiwi Legend and a 2nd in the Albany Cup to Our Jimmy Johnstone. He resumes here without a trial but will be hard to beat if anywhere near his top. MESSI (1) hasn’t lived up to his early promise but has great gate speed and has options at the start. JUST BET ON BLACK (4) battled on well from the breeze last week and looks the only other winning chance. CHUCK NORRIS (9) will be fitter for his first up placing but is drawn poorly. Tips: 2 1 4 9 Suggested Bet: TALKTOMEURMATTJESTY (2) to win. Race 9: WIN BOOST NOW ON TABTOUCH MS PACE STAR ARMBRO (2) was well driven when a good winner over the talented Major Pocket before facing the breeze when finishing at the rear at Pinjarra. He is well drawn here and drops in class. WOLOWITZ (7) ran a fair 6th in a stronger field at his first run for three years. He is clearly the best horse and should be respected. KID COLOSSUS (8) will find this easier than his 7th in 1.54.6 last week and is a winning chance. COUER DE WHITBY (11) should get a nice run from his trailing draw and can be in the money. Tips: 2 7 8 11 Suggested Bet: STAR ARMBRO (2) to win. Race 10: BET NOW ON TABTOUCH 3YO FILLIES MS PACE COTT BEACH (6) has won seven of her 11 career starts and possesses brilliant gate speed. She is likely to cross at the start and record win number eight. DONTSTOPBELIEVIN (4) had mixed form in NZ but did display ability so monitor the betting. NOLESSTHANPERFECT (9) wasn’t fancied but performed well in her two 2YO starts and may have come on. IDEAL CHARM (3) has trialled nicely in preparation for her debut and is well drawn. Tips: 6 4 9 3 Suggested Bet: COTT BEACH (6) to win. Bet Now
