Trent’s Gloucester Park Preview Posted on February 15, 2018 | Posted by Trent Cooper Trent Cooper’s Preview Race 1: TABTOUCH WESTBRED MS PACE RED HOT ROXY (2) has won four of her last six, including a comfortable all the way victory here last week. She goes up in class tonight but has a big barrier advantage over her main rivals and will give them something to chase. OUR ZAK WHITBY (11) is first up without a trial but raced in top 4YO company last campaign and can make his presence felt. BETTOR REWARD (8) disappointed last time in but has plenty of ability when right. NEW WORLD ORDER (9) broke through in easier company but has a wide draw tonight. Tips: 2 11 8 9 Suggested Bet: RED HOT ROXY (2) to win. Race 2: SUPER PICK ON TABTOUCH THE LEWIS QUALIFYING HEAT 2 MARES MS PACE GOTTA GO GABBANA (5) has hit peak form with consecutive victories after facing the breeze on both occasions. She meets a stronger field tonight but should still give a great sight. ROCKIN THE BOYS (2) resumes from a spell without a trial but is a very good frontrunner and will give them something to catch. COVERED IN DIAMONDS (6) has been a beaten favourite at her last three but has the ability. ITS MY LUCKNOW (1) is drawn to get a lovely run and shouldn’t be far away. Tips: 5 2 6 1 Suggested Bet: GOTTA GO GABBANA (5) to win. Race 3: THE SPORTS DAILY ON TABRADIO MS PACE TAS MAN BROMAC (2) has impressed in winning three of his five WA starts including an all the way victory in the Northam Cup recently. He is nicely drawn and looks the one to beat. MAJOR CATASTROPHE (6) ran 2nd in that race before winning comfortably here last week. He will push forward to the breeze and has the strength to test the favourite. ALL THE TORQUE (1) has good gate speed and won’t be far away from the pole. CHAL STORM (5) has won nine of his 18 race starts and should be considered at each way odds. Tips: 2 6 1 5 Suggested Bet: MAJOR CATASTROPHE (6) each way. Race 4: TABRADIO MS PACE BHAGWAN (3) sat on the leader when 3rd to Mighty Flying Thomas here last week. He looks a good chance to find the top tonight and should prove hard to run down. MAC TIGER (5) breezed when 7th in the same race and looks an improver with the right run in transit. RACY LACY (1) is likely to get a lovely run on the pace and looks a good place chance. BROOKIES JET (2) must be considered on his 2nd in 1.56.3 two starts back. Tips: 3 5 1 2 Suggested Bet: BHAGWAN (3) to win. SuperPick - Race 4 no. 3 BHAGWAN - Money Back Race 5: RWWA CUP MS PACE CHICAGO BULL (6) faced the breeze and was placed in the Fremantle and WA Cups before winning easily here. He looks a class above his opposition and should win again. BETTORS FIRE (7) led throughout for a comfortable win last week and would make it interesting if he crosses at the start. ARGYLE RED (1) is flying and must be considered at least a place chance from the pole. OHOKA PUNTER (10) hasn’t won for 10 months but is racing quite well and can be placed. Tips: 6 7 1 10 Suggested Bet: CHICAGO BULL (6) to win. Race 6: CADUCEUS CLUB CLASSIC 3YO MS PACE BECHERS BROOK (4) led when a comfortable winner here before having every chance when 2nd to Lady De La Renta. He is drawn inside his main dangers here and will be hard to catch if he finds the top. GOLDEN STATE (5) resumed with an impressive Bunbury victory and obviously has plenty of ability. ROCK ME OVER (11) has worked hard and been placed at his first two runs back from a spell and could be suited by the trailing draw. SPEED MAN (12) looked home when he threw the race away last start and must be considered. Tips: 4 5 11 12 Suggested Bet: BECHERS BROOK (4) to win. Race 7: JOIN THE CADUCEUS CLUB TODAY MS PACE IMPORTER EXPORTER (1) is better known as a standing start conveyance and won from the tapes two runs back. He can probably hold up from the pole in this event and should give a sight. IMA ROCKNROLL LEGEND (3) was an impressive 1.55.6 winner two starts back before a great 2nd last week and must be considered. REAL LUCKY (6) is flying with six wins from his last eight starts and can overcome the draw. TOMMY BE GOOD (7) has a nice turn of foot when driven cold and is suited by the small field. Tips: 1 3 6 7 Suggested Bet: IMPORTER EXPORTER (1) each way. Race 8: CADUCEUS CLUB AT GLOUCESTER PARK SS PACE BRONZE SEEKER (3) has been placed at two of his past four starts and will appreciate the drop in class tonight. He finished 2nd in 1.55.6 two runs back and they won’t run anything like that in this moderate affair. His stablemate, MIGHTY FLYING THOMAS (6), was a solid winner against a similar field last week and looks the main danger. LORD LEXUS (1) was 5th in that race and can give a sight from the pole. CHANGE OF ADDRESS (4) is racing consistently and is suited by the small field. Tips: 3 6 1 4 Suggested Bet: BRONZE SEEKER (3) to win. Race 9: TABTOUCH – THE BRAND THAT FUNDS THE INDUSTRY MS PACE HOT FRATERNITY (9) has finished 2nd at his last three starts and is very close to breaking back into the winners’ circle. He is drawn wide but will be suited by the likely solid tempo and will be charging home. MAXENTIUS (7) returned to his best with a strong 3rd in quick time last week and will be very hard to catch if he can work his way to the front. SOHO EASTWOOD (3) is the best drawn of the main chances and can make his presence felt. IDEAL INVESTMENT (5) was a close-up 3rd here last week and can be in the money again. Tips: 9 7 3 5 Suggested Bet: HOT FRATERNITY (9) each way. Race 10: CHINESE NEW YEAR FIREWORKS FRI FEB 23 MS PACE RUNRUNJIMMYDUNN (9) was beaten as a $1.04 favourite last week and it probably doesn’t help punters but there was nothing wrong with his effort. They ran quick time and he had to do extra work with a flat tyre so can make amends tonight. CEST LHEURE (8) is the main danger but he was also beaten as a short priced favourite last start. RAFFAELLO (6) has been placed at his last three and can be in the money again. RESPONDER (3) has drawn nicely and looks a place chance. Tips: 9 8 6 3 Suggested Bet: RUNRUNJIMMYDUNN (9) to win.
