Race 1

COGNAC may have to work to sit outside the lead but the tougher he does it the better he seems to go. HOW TO FLY was enormous in the Magic Millions trophy. She looks hard to beat. BON VOYAGE charged to the line over 1100m. Back to the sprint is a query. SATURIA is racing a bit below her best, but it may be Ascot.

Race 2

ASSETRO is not a betting proposition but may well be the best 2 year old filly in the state. Just watch and enjoy without a wager for mine. CASLAVSKA trialed well enough for her debut. COCATIEL was sound on debut in a much tougher race. CAROLINA REAPER finds the front without any questions and rolls.

Race 3

NO MEAN FEET returns to the track with a number of feet related gear changes and no doubt has his fair share of issues but also has above average ability. REBOW was probably a touch better than it looked visually second-up in WA. COMPARITIVE returned well fresh without a trial. SAVUNO next best if he holds leader’s back.

Suggested Bet – NO MEAN FEET EACHWAY

Race 4

DYNAMITE DREAM never saw daylight first-up and went around untouched. Her form of last preparation is very strong and she looks extremely well placed. TRANSGRESSOR doesn’t win out of turn but should go well here. MIGHTY BLONDE is building into her preparation and was good at Pinjarra. FORBIDDEN PLANET will work across from the gate.

Suggested Bet – DYNAMITE DREAM WIN

Race 5

OLIVERS TRAVELS backs up off 7 days and is drawn to sit perfectly in running with the pace on in front. He should go close. VEUVE DE VEGA is firing on all cylinders and they will need to make their move earlier to catch him. MAX ALMIGHTY has always looked like a 1400m type. PRIZE CATCH brings X-Factor and could lob leader’s back.

Race 6

STATE PROSECUTOR was never going to be a winning chance with the rail out lumping 59kg in midweek grade and was a ridiculous quote. Box seats here and should go close. CALBANESCO could lead them up in a canter. PRIVATE DANCER will need things to go her way with the big weight. ARCTIC STREAM is progressive and promising but drawn awkwardly.

Suggested Bet – STATE PROSECUTOR EACHWAY

Race 7

KAAPANDER was enormous first-up and then held up the entire length of the straight second-up. Can stride forwards into a position and give a sight. REBELLIONAIRE drops massively in class and is extremely well weighted. JERAFT belted moderate opposition and is going well. BELTER is a slight query at the trip but going well.

Numbers: 3 – 8 – 9 – 2

Suggested Bet – KAAPANDER EACHWAY

Race 8

ANISAU has been lumping huge weights in the midwest and draws a gate in town to be more than competitive in an evenly graded affair. WESTERN TEMPLE should be winning on form but has only saluted once in his career. PUSH TO PASS would go close if ridden positively out of the gates. DARK PROSPECT was heavily supported fresh and afforded no luck.
