Glenn Ingram’s Wednesday Geelong Preview Posted on November 25, 2025November 25, 2025 | Posted by Glenn Ingram RACE 1 Low maiden race for the stayers. LIMOSA is ready to win and was beaten narrowly at her 1st attempt over a staying trip last time out, sure to be improved from it and the winner should progress further. UP YOU GO was good off a 4 week gap at Mornington, may look to take up the running with the lead speed up for grabs. OCEAN IMPULSE has shown little in her short career, the booking of inform Linda Meech could see her use the draw and SCORPION BAY gets the blinkers back on to improve and needs to. Selections: 6,3,7,2 Suggested Bet: LIMOSA win RACE 2 SILENT ANSWER is the best on the card and well-placed to breakthrough for a win at start two, the Written Tycoon filly was solid on debut at Cranbourne, off the bit a long way out and wide on the track, she let down strongly through the line. Bigger track and 1400m are positives. VENETIAN CHOICE had every chance finding leaders back in a fast race here last start and wasn’t good enough, should run well again. LIGHT FILLED maps for an uncontested lead in the small field, she too was given all favours at Donald, again may find one better. BOOMEROO was an expensive yearling purchase for A & S Freedman, jumpouts have been ok, a market watch. Selections: 8,10,6,3 Suggested Bet: SILENT ANSWER win RACE 3 LADY VERITY has been flying at the jumpouts to return and finds a suitable race to be winning first-up. A touch unlucky on debut she then bumped into a metro class filly at her 2nd career start and tried hard to the line. Expect her forward in running and will take catching. MISSION OF JOY jumped out like a filly of some promise and was good on debut making ground late at Mornington. BRICKENDON has jumped out ok for A & S Freedman although not asked to pick up in either of his two heats. RED BARRON returns gelded, his jumpouts have been fair but without his race-day blinkers on. Selections: 11,12,5,6 Suggested Bet: LADY VERITY win RACE 4 Good race. FORMIDABLE FORCE is a former Waller-trained import resuming off 34 weeks for the Vella stable, his most recent Camperdown jumpout was outstanding, jumped best, snagged back through the field and won running away in the straight, impressive work. If he brings it to race-day he’ll take beating. Stablemate GRAND TERRE also resumes off good work at the jumpouts, a Mildura maiden winner on debut, he needs to go up a level and jumpouts suggest he’s capable. NEXT STOP IOWA returns winning a jumpout at Mornington in preparation. YOUWROTEUPONIT deserves respect, also a debut winner, she too returns off an extended break, jumpouts have been solid, sure to be fit and ready with the Grahame Begg stable. Selections: 1,2,4,6 Suggested Bet: FORMIDABLE FORCE win RACE 5 Two key winning chances. TOO TOUGH impressed at the jumpouts and on debut in defeat at Mornington, slow to muster, rearwards and powered home from the back, only needs to settle closer in running to get an opportunity. STORM LEOPARD has improved at every jumpout for Lindsay Park across two preparations. He looks a miler/middle distance style of galloper and the 1300m on debut suits. TEN WARRIORS is ultra consistent, can race handy to the speed and resumes off good jumpouts. GOLDEN SPRITZ blinkers on, will also race on pace and give a big sight. Selections: 5,11,4,2 Suggested Bet: TOO TOUGH & STORM LEOPARD win RACE 6 RELIABLE JO received a brilliant ride to win at Seymour as the jockey/trainer combination continue to strike hot, maps to land in the first couple and given every chance to repeat. AFRICAN GREY was impressive winning at his 2nd career start over a staying trip, he appears capable of making the class rise. LEONCHROI is lightly raced and having a good prep, freshened after a sound effort at Bendigo in stronger company, he’ll be dictated to by pattern and tempo but is a key winning hope down in grade. NICOFFHOME made the most of the inside draw and a heady ride from Newitt to win at Mornington, will need to replicate. Selections: 6,2,4,9 Suggested Bet: Quinella 2,4,6 RACE 7 Tricky race, many chances. QUISEEN resumed in a strong BM78 field at Bendigo on Cup day and was just fair without any market support, a second-up winner previously she can improve sharply up to the 1200m in an even race with the speed on. BARBARIC LAD was well ridden at the Heath produced early, headed and fought back to score. He’s super consistent to fight out the finish again up in grade on what should be a genuine tempo. KAGEMUSHA the stablemate continues on winning appreciating cut in the track last time, this much harder. SUPERNIMA was strongly-supported first-up at Pakenham and no match for an impressive winner, he can go one better here. Selections: 10,7,12,11 Suggested Bet: QUISEEN 1 x 3 RACE 8 ONLYGOLDWILLDO has a good fresh record and can run a big race first-up at odds. Only raced once last prep for an impressive victory at this course swooping over 1400m and spelled, jumpouts have been quiet but his action has been superb, worth a spec. Good race for SEETHRU (bandages on/blinkers off) coming back in distance off a freshen up, led and gave a kick and when match for the impressive Zambardo at Sandown Hillside, a quiet jumpout at Camperdown last week, bowled along at the rear, expect him on-speed and hard to catch. LEG DRIVE has the upisde on his opposition, can sit handy to the speed using a low draw. WEATHER DELAY is another key speed influence and may get it cheap. Selections: 8,10,3,13 Suggested Bet: ONLYGOLDWILLDO 1 x 4 ROUGHIE: Race 8 #8 ONLYGOLDWILLDO Market Market
