RACE 1

A race of two key chances, PARI MOI was game in defeat at Pakenham returning from a short break where she had been kept in work, plum draw, expected leader and should get full control. DAME FLORENCE parks at the leaders girth, doubt they go quick. With the claim engaged may even take it up. NORTH DAKOTA improved last start and hit the line well at Sandown. ERTIJAAJ is an import creating interest, hard to recommend off the jumpouts.

RACE 2

Tough race. Even speed, CARDI BEE carried her wet track win at Pakenham onto soft ground last start when narrowly defeated, she’s well-placed to win again coming across from a wide gate. BLAKMAX best efforts come when going forward, that hasn’t been the case in recent starts, from the inside looks our joint leader. REALIKA will appreciate coming back in grade although tends to take a run. FLOWERDALE also among the winning chances down in grade.

RACE 3

Race experience look to have the edge. MORNING WHISPER has always impressed at the jumpouts and again for her 2nd race preparation, her debut in the Merson Copper was fair, would need to improve and can. FREE FLYING brings outstanding form for this contest, narrowly beaten here on debut. Hard to beat first-up.FORBIDDEN DESIRE put in a good effort fresh at Pakenham getting home from the rear in an on-pace dominated race. BREVITAS looked ok at the jumpouts for a 1000m horse.

RACE 4

Speed should be ok with WINSTON taking up the running from wide out. ON BROADWAY maps to get a nice trail following the leader, partial class drop gives her every chance to repeat her Cranbourne win. PULA was very impressive sprinting off a slow tempo at Pakenham, didn’t see that coming, would need to repeat. AURA & INHERENTLY both racing well and needing luck from the draw.

RACE 5

PARVENU was met with strong support at Pakenham last start and was snagged to the rear in a slow race and outsprinted. Stepping up to 1800m is in her favour, needs the tempo on early to suit. CANNAE had every conceivable chance in the Port Adelaide Guineas and was not good enough, easier race but maybe a query at 1800m. THERE WERE ROSES will appreciate going sharply up in distance.

RACE 6

Big field, a lot of speed engaged. TRES MAGNIFIQUE can go three on the bounce landing in behind the brutal speed. She’s returned a much better racehorse this time in. SUN SETTING is another who can win first-up, entered Cup day and saved for this. Drawn another rough marble. MINTULEE and the NSW visitor ONE HARD LADY who is well-weighted also fare well from a map perspective in a race with many chances.

RACE 7

Speed is hot! This is a good race for the proven fresh performer LANDMARK resuming, he likes to balance up and hit the line and the race sets up well for him with Mark Zahra aboard. CAFFETTERIA will make her run from the back also and could put herself in the money going up in grade. IN HASTE is an interesting runner for Mark Walker, hard to line up, gets a gun run from gate 4 with Williams. JUST BOLTS also worth including.

RACE 8

Another even race, big fields and a genuine speed expected. WISHFUL THINKER surely leads from the ace draw. Hard and fit should set it up for something like CENSORI had bone chips removed over the break, liked the jumpouts, stable flying, if fit enough can run a race first-up. CATTLE CAMP impressed winning at Sale first-up and follows the speed in this. BAJARIA and MILOS FILOS also in the mix.
