Glenn Ingram’s Wednesday Bendigo Preview Posted on May 12, 2026May 12, 2026 | Posted by Glenn Ingram RACE 1 Tricky race, the exposed form is weak and none of the debutantes have stood out. Of those debutantes, GOODNESS looks most ready to race, a trial winner in NZ before joining A&S Freedman, two local jumpouts, fitness should be no issue, gate speed may be. CHERRY HILLS can and should be positive from a wide draw to land front pair, a filly by Shamus Award will appreciate further in time. Likely leader is ZEPHYR SONG, folded late at Kyneton behind a smart one, up in trip is a query. THE ALPINA PENGUIN is suited at the 1300m, another looking for further in time. Selections: 4,1,8,7 Suggested Bet: Exotics RACE 2 A race with two winning chances. KANDINSKY is talented but green and tried hard in a narrow defeat fresh at Seymour, he’s extremely well-placed to breakthrough in this maiden field with a repeat effort, M Zahra a key rider change. KINGS ANCHOR resumes after failing on debut as a short-priced favourite at Kilmore, two jumpouts suggest he’s ready to go and a dry track can see him improve. TSAVO is a key speed runner & likely leader. TEXTURE also a competitive chance for minor money. Selections: 6,7,9,8 Suggested Bet: KANDINSKY win RACE 3 Big field of unraced youngsters. Alot of speed expected mainly from 1, 13,14,15. The team Hayes debutante FREWDAMOSS was scratched from a debut at Warrnambool last week, the barrier is tricky but she looks to have some strength at the end of her jumpouts and that will be important here on debut. AERIAL PURSUIT improved out of sight winning his latest 800m at Cranbourne, he quickened sharply and is in the right 2YO stable. HOME INVASION is a big threat if she takes her place as 1st emerg, race experience and recent jumpout impressive, also in the right juvenile stable. Selections: 8,1,15,13 Suggested Bet: Exotics RACE 4 Good race. VARDERO made an excellent debut chasing home a smart filly at Geelong. She is professional with a good action and should take beating in this. The debut of JACKPOT PARK had plenty of merit, doing best work late over 1000m losing touch with the speed early, he showed up at the trials leading in and has the senior rider engaged from a soft draw. If he can make use to be midfield or closer then a winning hope. TATAKAI UTA is a talented gelding who does a bit wrong, recent jumpout bodes well for this first-up. BIG STORM brings plenty of trial experience and shows obvious ability. Selections: 9,4,8,1 Suggested Bets: VARADERO & JACKPOT PARK RACE 5 Open race. STRANGETHINGDESIRE stuck on gamely to score on debut in a moderate maiden although 2nd horse has since won. Up in trip suits and if ridden with similar intent in a race lacking speed he can win again with natural improvement. COULDTHISBETHEONE will kick up from the low draw and try take a position, he’s racing well and finds another good race to be competitive. The import HARD EVIDENCE is worth respecting second-up, ok fresh at Pakenham with no market support, watch betting. Former WA galloper PEARL KING ran well fresh, a second-up winner last time, keep safe. Selections: 4,1,3,6 Suggested Bet: Exotics RACE 6 Good speed expected. Blinkers sparked the heavily-backed AVENUE MONTAIGNE into action breaking through for a well-deserved maiden win in fast time, always shown ability and can keep progressing in this field with a good draw. GOLDEN SPRITZ is super consistent and draws the ace marble, will need to kick up to hold a spot or risk getting buried. SUPER CHOICE should lead and give a sight, this is much harder. CLEVOR TREVOR is a nice horse resuming, watch betting and for him charging late. Selections: 12,2,8,4 Suggested Bet: AVENUE MONTAIGNE 1 x 3 RACE 7 Former Kiwi WOLF TWENTY ONE is building a good profile since joining the form stable of Shane Jackson. He’s been well-placed to date and was a soft winner fresh at Cranbourne. He maps nicely off the inside and only needs clear running to be in the finish again. PRINCE TYCOON will appreciate the low draw to overcome his problem of hanging. The speed comes from outside him with YUUKI and REGAL MIGHT, the latter looks our leader. CONFLICT can bounce back after getting back in an on-speed race at Lakeside, scratched from a stronger race last week for this easier assignment. Selections: 4,2,9,14 Suggested Bet: Exotics RACE 8 Big field. Hard to split two key chances. DRAMATICUS is limited but ultra-consistent and finds a suitable race and barrier, with race fitness to boot. Thought STREET LARK jumped out well to resume this campaign and may have more upside than most, another drawn to figure. DARK SIMBA has a touch class and a good finish, he’s drawn out and hoping they go quick early. NEARING LIBERTY is another consistent type resuming, he lacks a punch at the end of his races but sure to run well. Selections: 10,14,9,6 Suggested Bet: Exotics Market Market
