Chris Nelson’s Rosehill Best Bets Posted on July 1, 2022 | Posted by Chris Nelson RACE 4 No.5 Black Queen Chris Waller trained mare who is having her fourth run back this prep and keep in mind she won at exactly the same stage of her last campaign. She will appreciate the step to 2400m a distance she’s yet to miss a placing at (which includes a win). She really did look to put the writing on the wall last start after giving away too much start at the 2000m grinding home nicely. RACE 8 No.14 Naval Seal Another one from the Waller yard who looks well placed to make it 3 wins from his past 4 starts tomorrow. He’s a 3yo taking on the older horses however he’s very promising, has won over the trip and handles all types of going which is important as there’s plenty of rain forecast both Friday and Saturday. Looks the one to beat again. RACE 9 No.8 New Arrangement Bit of a longs odds in firmer which is not surprising as he did appear overs when first markets were posted on Wednesday. He’s not the easiest to catch however things haven’t gone to plan of late, he motored home three back at Eagle Farm putting the writing on the wall, next start he almost fell when arguably could have won. His latest was more of a fitness run in my opinion, this suits should they be able to make ground and we will know that by this stage of the day.
