Chris Nelson’s Randwick Best Bets Posted on July 8, 2021July 9, 2021 | Posted by Chris Nelson RACE 1 No.10 Sky Command Deep Field filly who was a decent go on debut supported in from $15 to $7 when leading throughout at Warwick Farm on a heavy (9) surface. Loved the way she kicked and kept going strongly right to the line to score convincingly. Yes she takes on Saturday grade now however that win and the likelihood of further improvement to come suggests she can measure up. RACE 2 No.9 Allinthistogether As with the above runner I’m banking on this one measuring up from weaker grade and from what she’s shown to date I’m confident she can. Jumped from a solid finishing 1250m debut to the mile last time out at Gosford when moving well clear of her rivals down the straight. The drop back 100m is the only real negative I can find, down 5kg off that win certainly helps though. Looks a good each-way bet. RACE 9 No.10 Barbaric Beautifully bred colt from the Snowden yard who resumes from a break tomorrow. A winner of 2 of his 4 starts including the Black Opal he only had the one start last prep pulling up lame and being sent straight to the paddock. Three lead up trials should have him ready to go fitness wise and he’s certainly got plenty of soft track experience with all 4 starts being on that surface.
