RACE 1 No.7 Sacred Field

200K debutante from the Team Hawkes yard who has impressed at both barrier trial performances. The first at Rosehill was a demolition job whilst the second at Warwick Farm although not as impressive margin wise did still look good to the eye. When this stable win a trial with their first up or first starters they barely get beaten, when they’ve won two the record is even better! 

RACE 4 No.11 Bright Rubick

Looks to be very well weighted tomorrow with the claim for Reece Jones. Stuck to his guns well two back on the Kensington track with 57.5kg beating all bar the promising Fashchanel from the O’Shea yard before enduring a horror trip at Scone in Listed company. Back to benchmark grade again with only 50.5kg to carry he should run well. 

RACE 7 No.3 April Rain

Tipped by yours truly first up at Gosford recently when although beaten I thought she was one of the runs of the day. Asked to do too much from the back of the field she made up plenty of ground down the straight to go down by less than half a length on the line. Fitter, down a little in weight, up 100m and likely to settle closer all suggest she’ll make amends.
