RACE 2 No.5 Keen Power

Doesn’t look to be too many winning chances in this week’s Highway with this one and Tejori at the top of the betting charts. Happy to lean Keen Power’s way as he’s a lightly raced promising type who has beaten all bar the winner both runs this prep in this grade of race. Slow getaways haven’t helped on either occasion suggesting JMac will be keen to get away to a good start tomorrow. If he does, look out!

RACE 5 No.7 Southern Lad

The old firm of John O’Shea and James McDonald team up here with this quality sprinter who looks primed to break through for a fourth up victory. Liked his effort to beat all bar the Everest contender Classique Legend a fortnight back on similar wet ground. His overall heavy/soft track record is a good one and this looks an ideal assignment for him.

RACE 7 No.5 Superium

Joe Pride trained gelding who should be right at his peak here at start number three this prep. He’s on the quick back up here having raced well last Saturday when clocking in a solid 3rd. He has backed up similarly in the past racing well in Listed company when finishing on the heels of Castelvecchio. Handles the ground well and should figure in the finish.
