Chris Nelson’s Randwick Best Bets Posted on October 11, 2019 | Posted by Chris Nelson Chris Nelson’s Best Bets RACE 2 No.4 Milk Man Ex French galloper who although yet to figure in the placings at his three local outings hasn’t been far away at a couple of them and appeals as a solid each-way chance tomorrow. Zero luck gaining clear running first up before drawing wide at his latest run when not far away on the line. The wet conditions won’t worry him tomorrow as although yet to see heavy ground he’s won twice on soft going overseas. RACE 5 No.1 Microphone Outstanding in his 2yo season and no reason to suggest he can’t be just as impressive as a 3yo. Rounded out his initial prep with a win over Loving Gaby in the Sires here on a soft surface in April, that filly was super impressive winning at her first start back recently in Melbourne franking the form. Wasn’t asked for much in a recent trial however will be ready to go here. RACE 7 No.1 Castelvecchio Group 1 Champagne winner in the autumn who returned with a solid finishing finish at Rosehill before back 100m when 4 lengths away in the Golden Rose last time out. On that occasion he only really hit his straps late which was to be expected and note he did pull up with a case of the thumps. He really looks as though he’s searching for 2000m and gets it tomorrow. Quaddie 1, 2, 7, 8 1, 2 1, 3, 10 1, 2, 6, 7, 8 Market Market
