RACE 3 No.3 Racketeering

Interesting runner who does plenty of his racing in Queensland. That’s where he’s kicked off this current campaign with close up efforts both runs including a solid last start second on the Gold Coast. Third up staying at 1400m even accounting for a wide gate I’m expecting him to run well strictly on an each-way basis though.

RACE 5 No.2 Sweet Deal

Looks nicely placed in the Hawkesbury Crown tomorrow dropping back to Group 3 grade. Liked her finishing effort in the Sapphire behind Fasika when only really clear inside the final 200m. Although she didn’t savage the line she did find it steadily suggesting the additional 100m tomorrow is going to suit her down to the ground. Well drawn with Nash Rawiller on top I can see her in the first few from the get-go.

RACE 7 No.3 Ellsberg

No big odds about this lightly raced colt who really does look to have come back in devastating form. Straight to the front in the South Pacific at Randwick he never ever looked like being run down and I can only suggest he’s going to strip even fitter second up. Rainbow Connection ran 3rd in the same race running on after being held up, even with a clearer run earlier I highly doubt he would have challenged Ellsberg. Wins again!
