Scott’s Wednesday Belmont Preview Posted on September 26, 2017 | Posted by Scott Embry Scott Embry’s Preview Race 1 MISTY METAL was a strong debut winner and an eye catcher in defeat in Saturday grade. This race looks very suitable from the perfect draw. ROCKON TOMMY took his impressive trial form to the races, he is a talent. THREE SECRETS and SALLY’S REALM have both trialed well enough to run strong races. Numbers: 6 – 1 – 5 – 7 Suggested Bet – MISTY METAL WIN SuperPick - Race 1 No. 6 MISTY METAL - Win Boost Race 2 MUSICAL ART has been banging the door down. Deserves a win and this race is not strong by any stretch. DETOIT DIESEL gets out to a trip for the first time since the Victoria Derby. SHADOW BOXER was caught wide throughout, forgive that run. COSTA OESTE should roll forwards and grind away. Numbers: 2 – 3 – 5 – 1 Suggested Bet – MUSICAL ART WIN Race 3 SISTAKINI trialed exceptionally well at Lark Hill in late August. She looks to have an abundance of ability. ACTION is a well related 3 year old on debut. He could be one of Bob Peter’s Derby propositions. ZALINSKI kept finding in his trial. Drawn awkwardly but looks like the trip will suit. MASSA MAC is one of the few speed horses in this field. Numbers: 10 – 12 – 14 – 3 Suggested Bet – SISTAKINI WIN Race 4 A FAIR LADY has always raced like this kind of journey would suit. She should settle towards the rear in a small field and has the best turn of foot. WOODMANS KEEP is honest but lacks a killer blow. SEALED WITH A KISS is a query at the trip. JAZARI should have no excuses with a cutaway in play. Numbers: 5 – 2 – 4 – 3 Suggested Bet – A FAIR LADY WIN Race 5 MYCROFT was very well supported for his return to the race track. He will appreciate a more genuine tempo. SIR SNUGALOT should have no troubles holding the front and from there is capable of running strong sections. STAR VALUE was solid at his first-up outing. KLEVA KEZZA battled on very well after being caught three wide throughout. Numbers: 2 – 1 – 4 – 6 Suggested Bet – MYCROFT WIN Race 6 SHOWCASE was ultra impressive on debut. She looks to have a pretty handy 3 year old season ahead of her. MIKIMOTO is another extremely well bred Bob Peters juvenile who has shown well above average ability at trials. NECKLET has trialed very well on both occasions this preparation, follow her. WATTO’S FURY box seats from the inside. Numbers: 4 – 7 – 8 – 1 Suggested Bet – SHOWCASE WIN Race 7 WARRIOR OF JUSTICE was caught wide throughout at his WA debut back in June. Freshened up he has strong Eastern States form lines to his name. GENERAL HUSSON was a strong winner at his most recent after putting the writing on the wall. MISS SONDRIO was run off her feet first-up behind the electric Floyd. GRECO is best suited when allowed to roll out in front. Numbers: 4 – 1 – 2 – 7 Suggested Bet – WARRIOR OF JUSTICE WIN Race 8 OLIVER’S TRAVELS excelled at his debut for the Simon Miller camp. He looks capable of stringing a few wins together quickly. ST BEL ran well first-up and on paper looks to get a very similar run in transit. LIQUID MAN brings some X-factor to the race. VALTIMOR needs to improve off his first-up effort. Numbers: 3 – 1 – 2 – 4 Suggested Bet – OLIVER’S TRAVELS WIN Quaddie (Races 5 – 8) 1,2 4,7,8 1,2,4,7 1,3 Bet Now
