RACE 1

Boom filly HIGH CONVICTION resumes and should be posting her first win. She was backed as if unbeatable on debut however nothing went right (jumped poorly, saddle slipped, tailed off) and she was tipped out for a freshen-up. She’s been tuned up with an effortless trial win and Harvey goes on. ORANGE STRUDEL was solid on debut and get into the placings. RAGAZZO D’ORO was asked for little in a trial. SUMMER DECOY will be around the mark.

RACE 2

PRIME WITNESS toyed with her rivals when resuming from a spell at Northam. She should improve off that run and take the step to midweek grade. IT’S DYNAMITE resumes from a spell without a trial. She’s a speedy filly who will want to try and find the lead. KENTUCKY LASS drops in class. She finished right next to Prime Witness in their only clash. ROMAN FIGHTER is hard to catch but he gets all the favours from gate 1.

RACE 3

CAPRICORN DANCER attacked the line at Pinjarra. That was her first run for the Justin Warwick stable. If she can be within striking distance when they straighten she takes plenty of holding out. BEAUCOUNT makes his debut for the Kersley yard and Pike rides. He wasn’t asked for much in a recent trial. ONAPARA has had plenty of chances but will be finding the line again. MAYBE ONE MORE improves off his first-up run and has claims.

RACE 4

JESTAJINGLE was big winner two starts back over this trip and then just found the class and the 1200m too much at her most recent outing. Back in class and trip and Pike goes on. She can win. CORVARA is very speed. She finds the rail and is the one to run down. ANNIE’S LUCK will box seat with Harvey on. CONFIRMATION showed ability in her first campaign.

RACE 5

GENEROUS CHOICE has been knocking the door down all campaign. She can race handy to the speed and get her chance for a break through win. STRIKING STAR was a strong winner in a similar race at his most start. KEYSBROOK drops in grade and can improve. DISCOVILLE is always a chance at this level.

RACE 6

BELLE LA VIE put in an eye-catcher fresh and then raced a little flat last week after being hunted up from an inside draw. She will likely be ridden quieter and can improve sharply. INFATHUATED is the class horse of the race. He resumes from a year lay-off for his new trainer Justin Warwick. First-up off such a long break over 1400m is the query. FUTURISM box seats from gate 1. CORUSCATION was terrific in the Provincial Championship Final.

RACE 7

ON TREND is a horse on the rise. He was dominant fresh and this doesn’t appear to be much harder. With normal racing luck he makes it win number three from just five career starts. HASHTAG is the logical danger. She sprints well fresh and has the draw to get a soft run. BACHE should find the front and control. STAR GLITTER will be rattling late like he always does.

RACE 8

MEDOM has been in career best form the last month showing a really good turn of foot in his races. Harvey off to ride SONNEN who appears the main danger is the query however he loses nothing with W Pike taking the mount. THE DIRECTOR suffered cardiac arrhythmia last start. His prior form was in better races was strong. RODEO DRIVE can improve second-up.
