Race 1

SALLY’S REALM was excellent on debut finishing behind some nice 3 year olds. She should be going very close here. BUFF MAN has been no better than three wide at both runs this campaign. BRUTUS MAXIMUS showed ability in his trial, may be looking for further. COME ON OVER worked hard on top of a hot tempo.

Race 2

IN LOVE WITH PARIS is drawn awkwardly and potentially suited over further but all 3 trails have caught the eye. HILLBERT gets another chance in a winnable maiden. He is getting close. FREO ran an identical final 600 to Arcadia Prince on debut at York. LOVE ALWAYS gets in under the radar after 2 handy trials.

Race 3

DANES MAREE would take a deal of catching over the short course if Mollie Clark released the handbrake and let her run. REBELLIONAIRE is a very nice type resuming. He will win bigger and better races. THE NICCONIAN has the speed to put himself in the firing line. COOL DYNMAITE was flat on debut, improver.

Race 4

SOPHIA’S SECRET crossed, lead and ran a pretty handy bunch a merry dance first-up. She should be going close in a race like this. SPECIAL ALERT was completely luckless when going under a prohibitive favourite at York. ANOTHER STORY is a query at the trip but goes forward. CAPRICORN DANCER next best.

Race 5

NEW TIME is an absolute gem and gets another wonderful chance to win race number 15 at start 96. He is flying. PHANTOM CHOICE was going great guns in Kalgoorlie and gets a big weight swing on New Time. FORTY FOUR RED beat a limited bunch at Northam. BACHELORS PROSPECT has ability when right and goes well fresh.

Race 6

TRAP FOR FOOLS is an up and coming stayer who should be suited to the Ascot track conditions. If he finds the front he will take some catching. CARALABEK is hard to catch but hopefully the blinkers mean he will finally get out of the gates. FREEDOM BY CHOICE has been screaming out for this trip. ABSOLUTE MAGIC wobbles around the bend so not convinced Ascot will suit her.

Race 7

MIKIMOTO is the favourite for the WA Guineas and was an ultra impressive winner on debut. Anticipating a Winx type price and best to watch him go round. DISCO RIFFIC is flying this preparation and simply run into a few handy types. DELANEY is talented and his trial was super impressive. ORANGE STRUDEL was good last start and that has become a nice formline.

Numbers: 10 – 1 – 3 – 7

Race 8

STARKLE finally draws a gate and gets his opportunity in a very evenly graded affair. PLANETS ALIGN was strong enough first-up from a long absence to suggest he can bounce straight back into the winners’ circle. CELTIC WIZARD is fairly consistent and looks very well in here. ROJO CALOR next best.
