JIMMY MARGETTS (Race 2 Number 3) : Returned to the winner’s list in fine fashion last week when recording a best of night time of 27.28. Defeated the very talented Quartz Bale on that occasion and while he moves from box 1 to box 3 has two moderate beginners on his inside so gets his chance to find the rails first and under that scenario would take some stopping. Can go on with it here.

KRUGERRAND (Race 5 Number 3) : Exciting young chaser who has had 11 starts for 8 wins and 3 placings. Has won 4 of his last 5 starts and some of the winning times have been very slick including his last start effort where he zipped around in a best of night time of 27.26. Steps up to a city grade 5 event here but has shown every indication that he is headed for the top. Looks the goods.

COBRA CLUTCH (Race 11 Number 4): Accounted for the very smart Starlight Bella here last week when a winner in 27.60. Prior form had been strong and from 10 tries here over the 490 metres has managed 4 wins and 4 seconds. With a clean getaway may well prove a touch too nippy for this lineup.

QUADDIE: 3 – field – 458 – 12345. $50 spend = 41.66%

TRIFECTA: (Race 2) : 3 – field – field. $30 spend = 71.42%

FIRST FOUR: (Race 11) : 4 – 236 – field – field. $30 spend = 33.33%
