Scott Embry’s Saturday Narrogin Preview Posted on March 14, 2025March 14, 2025 | Posted by Scott Embry RACE 1 MOLLY’S MY PAL showed something last start behind Keggs Later and beat home key rival Main An Offer in the process. Same track/distance and Alex Hearn sticks (riding at 54.5kg too). Thinking that she can take it up, control, dictate and look to pinch it. ENDLESS JOY was well found in betting first-up at Geraldton and then threw it all away when missing the kick. Did a great job to get as close as she did in the end. MAID AN OFFER was over a month between runs last start so may have needed it. BOUTIQUE SESSION next. Numbers: 9 – 4 – 1 – 3 Suggested Bet – MOLLY’S MY PAL RACE 2 MILLICENTBYSTANDER finished third to All Grunt back at Northam in August. Tom Wolfe’s team is going well, he brings her straight to the races without a trial and she’s got speed to burn. Expect her to go well. MANTA RAY BAY won a barrier trial at Bunbury on the Sand Fibre leading into his return to racing and went really well here at Narrogin behind Scenic Boom. Think that he’ll get the right run from the draw and with the ZJP Claim drops 2kg run to run. QUICK AS SILVER was a bit disappointing in the same race. SAUCISSON a watch. Numbers: 9 – 1 – 3 – 4 Suggested Bet – MILLICENTBYSTANDER WIN RACE 3 OSCAR CHARLIE has turned a corner since joining Aaron Pateman. He won a C3 at Mt Barker leading throughout and beating My Lovely Pet, and then last start that galloper turned the tables on him in another C2. With My Lovely Pet winning a C3 1000 at Ascot last week it makes the form look good and he’s well placed back into a 46+. ELSA’S PRIDE won her first race in a long while and Mack Hall’s team are all going super. This mare won, Pretty Devine got nosed out, Queens Sacrifice paid in excess of 200-1 and no doubt Wags will be aggressive early. SNIPERS SON was much better last start at Esperance. ROYALZEL next. Numbers: 1 – 6 – 4 – 3 Suggested Bet – OSCAR CHARLIE WIN RACE 4 GOOD VIBES will again look to give 4kg claiming apprentice Rocky Cheung his first winner in the saddle. Sat in the breeze and cut the ribbons at the 600 last start before being gunned down late. She can cross these and if she finds the fence he should go close to saluting (literally). L’IL CAPRI looked good winning her maiden over 1400m back in September. Just may find this a bit short? NATURAL SPICE was good first start for Mitch Pateman. Got to the line well and now they go with a senior. SCENIC BOOM won well first-up. Numbers: 5 – 3 – 1 – 4 Suggested Bet – GOOD VIBES WIN RACE 5 SPEED BUBBLE got home powerfully to knock off Good Vibes this track/distance last start and drops 1.5kg coming up into a 52+. They’ll again burn along here with a few noted speedsters engaged and he can sit back and wind up late. HABIB is a last start winner of a 58+ 1400 at Esperance and had been in excellent form all season. It’s just the drop back to 1190m that concerns. Wants further. RAINLINE is being widely travelled as a filly but has plenty of improvement to come. WISE WORDS is one of the speed horses and both will charge forward from wide alley. Numbers: 6 – 3 – 10 – 4 Suggested Bet – SPEED BUBBLE WIN RACE 6 KAZKAZI is a model of consistency. He doesn’t win out of turn but he’s always there abouts and Keshaw Dhurun knows him. He can be put into the race if they try to throw the anchro and the Warralea Lass form could hold up in town on Saturday with that mare racing in a 60+ Graduation at Ascot. HE’S ARCHIE ran well (again) last start, runs for Alex Hearn but will he see out the trip? KAMIKAZE FIGHTER bounded clear for an effortless maiden win. CREZEE was below his best last start. Greg Kersley immediately takes the blinkers back off. Numbers: 3 – 5 – 6 – 4 Suggested Bet – KAZKAZI WIN RACE 7 CITINO gets 1.5kg to try and turn the tables on stablemate Stormageddon but probably more importantly he still has a senior rider on his back. Staying off the fence can be key at Narrogin. STORMAGEDDON bolted in the Esperance Cup. He settled 15th of 15 in running and ambled up to them in second gear. He loses CJP – that’s massive. It’s no knock on his little brother but Zephen doesn’t claim in the Narrogin Cup and barrier 2 can be a poison chalice. $1.80 in the Esperance Cup was theft, $1.80 in the Narrogin Cup is risky. HENRY THE AVIATOR was great last start. ELITE FIGHTER wasn’t far off Citino/Stormageddon. Numbers: 1 – 2 – 3 – 6 Suggested Bet – CITINO WIN RACE 8 LUCKY HEART was backed as if unbeatable last star in the 52+ 1720 at Narrogin 12 days ago but was no match for Warralea Lass. Happy to follow that form through, Warralea Lass Saturday at Ascot, Kazkazi in Race 6 and then Lucky Heart in Race 8. It’s all eggs in one form basket so hopefully it’s not a complete washout (pun intended). DESERT EDGE and WILLPOWER both won by extending margins over staying trips at their most recent outings. ZERA BLUE showed a little something last start and now the blinkers go on. Queens Sacrifice, Richmond, Zera Blue? Numbers: 2 – 1 – 3 – 12 Suggested Bet – LUCKY HEART WIN Quaddie (Race 5 – 8) 3,4,5,6,8,10 3,4,5,6 1,2 1,2,3,12 Market Market
