Warren Huntly’s Wednesday Sale Preview Posted on October 10, 2023October 10, 2023 | Posted by Warren Huntly Race 1 Even maiden to start the card. EPAULE got keen at 1300m last time and should settle better back to 1100m with ear muffs on. CHARGENLIKAPLUMA is racing consistently and will strip fitter third up. NIGHT PEOPLE has been jumping out well to debut as has HURRICANE KETUT to resume. SHIMSHALAR is another that has been jumping out nicely and resumes for a new stable. Selections: 4,1,5,2 Suggested Bet: Epaule each way Race 2 MOHNAR gave a good sight second up and should roll forward from the draw and control the tempo. TRIUMPHANT TONIC has jumped out well to kick off his second campaign at a suitable trip. TISHMAN and BIG SWAN have both been jumping out quite well and should appreciate 1423m for their debuts. ANOTHER NEPHEW will strip fitter second up fater working through the line nicely first up and can settle closer from the inside draw. Selections: 8,7,6,1 Suggested Bet: Mohnar to win Race 3 LABHUKU gave a good sight in a strong maiden first up and looks set for a good run on speed. MR TRAFFICANTI will strip fitter third up for the new stable and should hold a spot behind the speed from a favourable draw. OPALSON resumes with blinkers back on and has improved during a break if his recent jumpout is any guide. NAVAL DESTROYER brings some strong race day form but his latest jumpout looked just ok. Selections: 11,6,8,7 Suggested Bet: Playing 11, 6 & 8 in multiples Race 4 DULCET worked home strongly first up and looks well placed stepping up in distance second up. HIGHLY LIKELY stuck on well when rising in trip last time and shapes as a strong danger. AKI was well supported on debut, he hit the line strongly without ever looking a winning chance and will appreciate the rise in trip. TIDEFORD and WYNNS WELL have both jumped out well and looks suited at 1740m on debut. Selections: 10,5,9,2 Suggested Bet: Dulcet to win Race 5 SHE’S PRETTY RICH brings some strong Saturday class form and has jumped out well to resume. RED DATES has also competed well at Saturday level and had a confidence booster last start. LEDECKY’S DREAM will strip fitter second up and appreciate stepping up to 1200m. MORNING MELODY and LET’S GO LETTY look next best. Selections: 2,7,1,4 Suggested Bet: She’s Pretty Rich to win Race 6 Competitive race. HIGH DONE will strip fitter second up, he races well here and has the early speed to offset the wide draw. MILETUS is not a noted first up performer but has jumped out well and may be able to hold a spot from the inside draw. TAKARA stuck on ok first up in a stronger race and was caught in the worst part of the track. WANDA’S OUTLAW has been jumping out in good style and will be strong late. FIRST COMMANDMENT is another to be jumping out quite well and is in the game. DE LA ROCHA has claims in a deep race. Selections: 1,3,4,10 Suggested Bet: High Done each way Race 7 LADY DI DI ran well first up behind an in-form mare in Lempicka and looks well placed dropping in grade second up. RICH LOVER wasn’t disgraced behind a progressive horse last start and coming back in trip should suit. REGAL ZEUS looks the other main winning hope, he has upside and has jumped out well to resume. JOLTIN’ JOE and ANOTHER EFFORT have some claims. Selections: 7,6,3,1 Suggested Bet: Lady Di Di to win Race 8 CADMUS has been given time to acclimatise and has jumped out well to kick off his second Australian campaign. FLYING WITNESS has the wide barrier to contend with but had no luck last start and his first up run was good in a race that ties in HESITATE. BELL’S BIGHOUSE resumed with a good run, she’ll settle rearward but be charging late. FAGIN will appreciate the rise in distance second up and gets blinkers off. Selections: 3,9,10,6 Suggested Bet: Cadmus each way Market Market
