Harry Buchanan’s Tuesday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on July 25, 2023 | Posted by TABtouch CANNINGTON Race 5 No. 4 Red Hot Annie and No. 3 All Over Kite Start critical for both here. The 4 had no luck last week when the 3 beat her but the 3 also had the inside box and gave nothing else a chance. She has more company this week including the 4 who can step most days. Whoever pings here most probably wins if either find the arm. Race 6 No. 2 Crackerjack Pack and No. 4 Scared Lomar The veterans going around again and the 2 gets a much draw this time. Has good box speed and is racing as well as ever really. He could find the top here and that would be it. The 4 went to make a run at the top last week but was flattened and put out of it. He can show up again here and settle forward. He’s a threat. Both solid hopes in this. Race 7 No. 3 Spider Venom Fav is going well but the fact remains, this bloke in 3 would go straight past her or any of these if he sat on their hammer. Gets a much better draw this week and only betting on him showing box speed which he can. He hits the frame at least with a clear run and wins with a spear out even if he doesn’t lead but sits on whoever has the arm. Just needs to get his first 50m right. Race 8 No. 4 Delphini 2nd run for new kennel and his first up effort was steady. Back to the 380m a good move here and he’s the best dog in the race if they all turn up. Corner starts aren’t his go but has an edge on these class wise and has placed 2 from 3 track and trip. Just needs to handle his business going into the back and it’s on from there. Race 10 No. 1 Reed Keeping Really should just lead all the way. Has his box, has the time and these can’t go with him if he steps again. Even off a moderate step, he has a good turn of foot and should drive up and take over and then go to the line to score from there. He only beats himself here. Race 11 No. 1 Sugar Keeping Boxed to win off clean step. Can run time and has superb record off box 1. Knocked out of it last week and took a tumble so a little caution needed but she can win if she took no ill effects from that. Take on trust. Race 12 No. 2 Small Demeanour He goes alright this dog. Begins sharply and showed his ability two starts back with an all the way win in good time for the grade. He only has to outpace the red here and he can find the arm. That will see him go all the way if he does get it into the back. Great show if he spears out again. Market Market
