Race 1

FLY TO FLAME (1) hasn’t had much luck of late and has finished a close-up 4th and 3rd at her last two starts behind BRULEE (2). She gets the barrier advantage tonight and looks a good chance to turn the tables. BRULEE (2) has worked hard when winning her last two starts and should fight out the finish again. BETWEEN TWO THORNS (7) is an enigmatic type but can’t be overlooked. SEAGRASS (10) is a last start winner who is drawn to enjoy a nice run on the pegs and won’t be far away.

Race 2

FLOEWRITER (4) resumed with a win against easier company here last week and he can use his gate speed to good effect over the sprint trip. BLITZEMBYE (7) is the quickest beginner in the field and will give them something to catch if he can cross at the start. MOONLIGHT DRIVE (1) was crossed from this draw three starts back but he is racing well and will play a part with even racing luck. WATTS UP SUNSHINE (9) faced the breeze when 2nd in 1.54.9 two starts back but the draw makes it tough.

Race 3

THE MUSTANG (4) is a blistering beginner who drops in class tonight and he should lead and give a great sight. THE CODE BREAKER (2) is a last-start winner who is versatile and should fight out the finish. ELDAYTONA (3) led throughout here in good time last week and should play a part even if he can’t find the top. FASTER THAN DAD (6) ran a distant 3rd to Magnificent Storm here last week and will appreciate the drop in class.

Race 4

WONDERFUL TO FLY (3) has won 25 of her 41 career starts including dominant victories at her last two starts and is clearly the one to beat from her nice draw. STENO (1) can lead if desired and could make things interesting if she elects to hold the front. EIGHTEEN CARAT (8) is first-up tonight and she has plenty of ability but the draw makes it very tough. TAKING THE MIKI (5) did defeat WONDERFUL TO FLY (3) three starts back but is drawn outside her main rivals tonight.

Suggested Bet: WONDERFUL TO FLY (3 to win.

Race 5

GOODFELLAZ (9) has only missed a place once in his eight starts this time in and should give a great sight despite the wide draw. ACHARNE GIRL (4) is undefeated in four starts this time in and must be considered despite the significant rise in class. ROCKMYSTER (1) has led throughout in her last three starts and will be hard to catch if she is left alone in front. ROCK ON TOP (3) ran on nicely at his last start and is always dangerous with the right run.

Suggested Bet: GOODFELLAZ (9) to win.

Race 6

NASE VIRA (3) was green on debut and then didn’t have much luck here last week and is capable of turning the tables on the fillies that beat her home last week. PRINCESS KATIE (4) showed good speed when narrowly beaten here last week and will be hard to beat if she can cross at the start. MISS HEPBURN (11) led throughout to defeat a similar field here last week and is versatile enough to overcome the back line draw. IN A WINK (10) was a close-up 3rd here last week and will be charging home if she sees daylight at the right time.

Suggested Bet: NASE VIRA (5) to win.

Race 7

CORK CAN RUN (3) led throughout to record an impressive win at his second race start and looks the one to beat tonight. BROUGHT TO LIGHT (6) hasn’t had much luck in his two race starts but looks to have plenty of ability. ON THE BACK FOOT (8) ran on well to win at his last start and is capable of overcoming the wide draw. STAR OF THE GALAXY (1) has been unplaced in nine career starts but could sneak into a place at big odds from the pole.

Tips: 3 6 8 1

Suggested Bet: CORK CAN RUN (3) to win.

Race 8

OTIS (7) was an impressive first-up winner and then lost no admirers when a game 3rd to Soho Dow Jones after working hard in the run. This looks an easier assignment and he is clearly the one to beat. ARDENS HORIZON (4) has won two of his last three starts and looks the obvious danger. MIDDLEPAGE (10) has won three of his last five starts but will be giving his rivals a big start here. BEAT THE BANK (9) continues to race consistently and looks a good place chance.

Suggested Bet: OTIS (7) to win.

Race 9

SHOCKWAVE (3) has resumed with two impressive victories and should make it three from three. MIGHTY CONQUEROR (2) ran a solid 2nd to Mighty Conqueror at his first run back from a spell and looks the only danger. SWINGBAND (4) has led throughout to record impressive victories at his last two starts and is up to these on ability but is likely to settle at the rear. CORDERO (1) looks outclassed and will be trying to sneak into third place.

Suggested Bet: OUR MAESTOSO (1) to win.

Race 10

PRINCE OF PLEASURE (1) won his first two starts back from a spell before finishing 4th to FINVARRA (4) and can turn the tables from the pole. FINVARRA (4) was a dominant winner here last week and looks the obvious danger but is drawn poorly. WHATABRO (2) is drawn to trail the favourite and should be right in the finish. GALACTIC STAR (3) can sneak into a place.

Suggested Bet: PRINCE OF PLEASURE (1) to win.

Race 11

SOVRANA (5) has brilliant gate speed and looks a good chance to cross at the start and have options from there. MIGHTHAVTIME (6) has been disappointing at his two WA starts but has the ability to test these if he does everything right. CLOUD NINE (8) was a strong 2nd from the breeze here last week and can play a part. VINTAGE BLU (4) is racing well and will give a sight if he can find the front.

Tips: 5 6 8 4
