Warren Huntly’s Wednesday Sale Preview Posted on June 6, 2023 | Posted by Warren Huntly Race 1 ROYAL CROWN has trialled well for his jumps debut and will strip fitter for a couple of recent flat runs. ABREED has the benefit of two jumps outing and the form around those runs is holding up ok. AQUILA VOLARE will be better for his jumps debut during the strong Warrnambool carnival. ZOFFALA has been trialling quite well for his jumps debut. Selections: 6,1,2,8 Suggested Bet: Royal Crown to win Race 2 AQUILEON was safely held behind Teofilo Star at Warrnambool but that form is hard to resist. MAHAMEDEIS has decent flat ability and has trialled well for his jumps debut. THAT’S INCRANIBULL has been trialling well over the obstacles for the formidable combination of Payne and Kuru. POLAXED is another to have trialled well recently. Selections: 2,4,6,5 Suggested Bet: Aquileon each way Race 3 NOTHIN’ LEICA HIGH has trialled in good style to get back over the obstacles. EL DIAZ has recent jumps racing under his belt and the form through those races is strong. CERNAN has shown some jumps ability and comes here fit and in good form on the flat. TOM FOOLERY looks the other key hope. Selections: 5,3,4,6 Suggested Bet: Nothin’ Leica High each way Race 4 CASTOFRANCARU backs up from an impressive win last week, he rises in weight but appears to have a bright future over the obstacles. HISTORIC has decent jumps ability and is capable of much better on firmer ground than last start. Firmer ground will also be a positive for TAMARACK, NOT USUAL DREAM and SO BELAFONTE. Selections: 1,2,3,6 Suggested Bet: Castrofrancaru to win Race 5 Plenty to learn with all of the debutantes showing something at the trials and/or jumpouts, for mine WIRRPUNDA, PIASTI and RUNAWAY SOUL could be the pick of them but hard to have a firm opinion. REGAL ZEUS has jumped out well before knuckling at the start on debut and under the circumstances ran very well. Selections: 10,7,8,9 Suggested Bet: Happy to look and learn Race 6 QUEEN OF THE GREEN stuck on well in a G3 race first up and looks well placed dropping in grade. STARBURY has jumped out well between runs and gets blinkers first time. CAUSE FOR CONCERN has a habit of being slowly away but if he begins cleanly from the inside draw then he’s right in the game. THINK I’M DIVINE broke his maiden in dominant style here last start. Selections: 7,3,1,6 Suggested Bet: Queen of the Green to win Race 7 CRU CLASSE was no match for DAHWILLY last time but gets the benefit of the claim, both appear key winning hopes again. ADONIS KICK is much better when leading and expect him to press forward and attempt to get control. THE AWESOME SON drops in grade and improved nicely at his second run for the new stable. Selections: 5,6,4,3 Suggested Bet: Cru Classe each way Race 8 DUNALLEY hit the line well first up and looks well placed stepping up to this trip second up. FUNNYIFITWON pulled up with a slow recover last start and may not have had the clearest passage in the home straight. There wasn’t much between RED ON RED and REMIGIUS here last start, Remigius bets blinkers back on but has a slightly awkward draw. LAVISH THINKER broke his maiden well last time and can be competitive despite the rise in grade. Selections: 11,2,6,4 Suggested Bet: Dunalley each way Race 9 ROSE DIOR has a good first up record and likes the track, she was given a quiet time in a recent jumpout but suspect she’s ready for this trip first up. KING NEPTUNE is fit and racing in good form, he’s likely to roll forward and offset the wide draw. SUPERSTOCK has been freshened and jumped out nicely between runs. DAYAN STAR didn’t have the best of luck last start and is racing as though this trip will suit. Selections: 12,7,9,14 Suggested Bet: Rose Dior each way Market Market
