Chris Nelson’s Randwick Best Bets Posted on February 23, 2023 | Posted by Chris Nelson RACE 6 No.1 Skirt The Law Unbeaten filly from the Tony Gollan stable who we haven’t seen since she impressively won the Magic Millions on the Gold Coast back in mid-January. She was dominant that day and in a recent Doomben trial was even more dominant strolling home by 6 lengths in time which was equal to the faster open class heats on the day. Without doubt this is her acid test which I think she’s well and truly up to. RACE 7 No.8 Sunshine In Paris Yes, I know I tip her constantly however why not as she’s a super consistent filly who will once again go around at good odds. Terrific last start in the Light Fingers she meets the filly that narrowly defeated her In Secret once again who is clearly a class galloper and obviously the one to beat. At the discrepancy in the prices though I’ll stick with Sunshine in Paris each-way. RACE 10 No.2 Kalino Super consistent galloper from the Chris Waller stable who won his first two outings this time in before just giving away too much start last time in in what was a solidly run race both ends. He didn’t shirk his task at all though still clocking the quickest final 400m and 200m splits in the race. He’ll carry no more weight and should get the right run from the favourable draw on a track he does race well at. Quaddie 8, 1, 3 1 7, 10, 5 2, 16, 1 Market Market
