Chris Nelson’s Randwick Best Bets Posted on July 8, 2022July 8, 2022 | Posted by Chris Nelson RACE 1 No.6 Midnight In Tokyo Happy to stick with this Kacy Fogden trained filly who didn’t do a bad job here 4 weeks ago racing up on the speed. Yes, she finished out of the placings however was only 1.3L from the winner at the end and appears well suited on the very heavy ground we’re likely to be racing on after the deluge earlier in the week. Keep in mind she ran second on a Heavy (8) her prior run at the Gold Coast beating home the subsequent Sires & Atkins winner Sheeza Belter. RACE 3 No.1 Lease Goes into this race third up after close up efforts both runs this prep. First up this grade he was beaten just over a length before tackling stronger company last time out, back to BM72 he’ll carry less weight than when resuming after the claim for Tyler Schiller. He races well here on the track and has placed all three heavy track starts. Looks good each-way value. RACE 7 No.9 Snippy Fox On paper surely looks one of the best placed runners on the card. One run back from a break when a handy fourth here behind the very impressive and smart winner Dragonstone. Nice little trial since he’s won 3 of 4 second up and has the same record on heavy ground. Any repeat of that first up performance will have him going close, any improvement has him winning! Quaddie 9, 11, 4 12, 3, 2 5, 1, 2, 6 1, 5, 7 Market Market
