RACE 1 No.5 Honey Pot

Looking for black figures on Saturday with this Tony Gollan trained mare who certainly brings the best form lines into the race. She hit the line strongly first up at Eagle Farm in Listed company behind the promising Stroll winding up less than a length away. We need those leaders to run along early as I suggest she’ll get back again from the wide draw. Look for her late!

RACE 7 No.3 Bartholomeu Dias

Fair to say he hadn’t shown much since coming to Australia however I liked what I saw at Eagle Farm a fortnight back when winning the opening race. He sat back last in the run before moving through the field just needing room near the 200m, once he & Jaden Lloyd found that room he quickly picked up & ran over the leader. Perfect draw, hard to beat.

RACE 8 No.5 Vinco

Put the writing on the wall in the BRC Sprint when zig zagging his was down the straight in restricted room beaten under 2 lengths. He soon made up for that with a win in the Spear Chief 7 days later zooming along the inside to charge clear late beating home Charmmebaby who came out & won last week. There’s plenty to like about his chances on Saturday.
