The Scout: NBA Finals Game 3 Posted on June 8, 2022June 8, 2022 | Posted by The Scout Golden State Warriors @ Boston Celtics Golden State have tied the series at one game apiece after dismantling Boston 107-88 in Game 2. It was a much-improved Warriors outfit to what we saw in Game 1, as Steve Kerr made sure his team played with high energy for all four quarters. A big adjustment for the Warriors was the addition of Gary Payton II who was unavailable for Game 1, but played an incredibly impactful 25 minutes in Game 2. With Payton and Draymond Green on the court together, the Warriors were ferocious on the defensive end, causing turnovers and forcing the Celtics into tough, contested shots. Back at the TD Garden, Boston will have the home crowd behind them, but will need to get more from their trio of Al Horford, Marcus Smart and Derrick White who were all non-existent in Game 2. Jayson Tatum comes into Game 3 off the back of shooting 11/36 in the first two games and with the attention he is getting from Payton, Boston will need to find scoring from other avenues. Despite a struggling Klay Thompson, the Warriors have looked the better team with their patented ball movement and high energy defense proving tough for Boston to deal with. Golden State have so many weapons offensively but Boston continue to rely on heavily on Tatum. Suggested Bet: Golden State to Win @ $2.30* Suggested Bet: Klay Thompson Over 18.5 Points @ $1.78* *Odds correct as at 10am, 8th June 2022. Market Market
