The Scout: EPL Week 38 Posted on May 20, 2022May 21, 2022 | Posted by The Scout Brentford vs Leeds United Brentford (11th) can be extremely proud of their efforts this season, exceeding all expectations and looking every bit a staple of the Premier League for years to come. Leeds (18th) need points here to give themselves any chance at avoiding relegation, but have not won a match in five straight fixtures. Since the beginning of March, Brentford have been on a roll with seven wins, one draw and two losses. During this run they have beaten some of the league’s elite with wins over Chelsea (4-1) and West Ham (2-0) plus a 0-0 draw against Tottenham. Although the motivation will be high for Leeds, you simply cannot look past a Brentford in this matchup. Suggested Bet: Brentford to Win @ $2.30* Liverpool vs Wolverhampton Liverpool (2nd) is one point behind Manchester City and still a chance at the title if they secure maximum points against a Wolverhampton (8th) side that has not won in five straight matches. The atmosphere will be electric at Anfield as the home faithful cheer on Liverpool who have been clinical in their final stretch of Premier League games. The Reds are undefeated in their last 18 matches and are rightfully short-priced favourites to add a win to that streak here. At home, Liverpool have kept clean sheets in five of their last six fixtures, and have also held Wolverhampton goalless the last three times they have met. I think we see that run continue. Suggested Bet: Liverpool Win to Nil @ $1.75* Norwich City vs Tottenham Norwich City (20th) will be relegated from the Premier League after a poor season that sees them enter this final match with a -56 goal differential. Tottenham (4th) have their destiny in their own hands and can guarantee Champions League football next season with a win here. Manager Antonio Conte has transformed this Tottenham side and once again proven he is one of the world’s best a what he does. Spurs come into this match in blistering form, having lost just once in their last ten Premier League fixtures. Tottenham star Heung-min Son has 21 goals for the season, second only to Mohamed Salah (22) in the Golden Boot race. I expect this match to be a landslide victory for Tottenham and think Son can fill his boots one last time for the season. Suggested Bet: Heung-Min Son to Score at Least 2 Goals @ $4.60* *Odds correct as at 6pm, 19th May 2022. Market Market
