Bayern Munich vs Villareal

Villareal scored an upset 1-0 win over Bayern Munich in the first leg but still have a monumental task in front of them if they are to advance to the semi-finals. Bayern dominated much of the match and were unlucky not to leave Spain with at least a draw, registering 10 more shots at goal than their opponent.

Bayern Munich have been exceptional at home this season in the Champions League, going undefeated while scoring a massive 20 goals in just four matches. I think we see the German outfit flex their muscle here in the return leg.

Real Madrid vs Chelsea

Real Madrid come into this match with a significant advantage after travelling to London and decimating Chelsea 3-1. The Spanish giants are now in the most commanding of positions and have a terrific record at home.

Real have already bested a heavily stacked PSG team this tournament, and across all competitions have only been defeated twice at home. Their spearhead Karim Benzema is in the form of his life coming off a hat-trick in the opening leg.

Liverpool vs Benfica

Liverpool travelled to Portugal in the opening leg and put on a clinic, coming away with a comfortable 3-1 victory. We now head back to Anfield where the Reds have lost just once in 24 matches across all competitions.

Anfield has become a fortress for Liverpool and it’s hard to make a case for Benfica finding a way to win, or even score. Liverpool come into this match following a 2-2 draw with Manchester City, with Diogo Jota, Sadio Mane and Mo Salah all in great form.

Atletico Madrid vs Manchester City

Manchester City held their ground with a 1-0 win in the opening leg which means Atletico Madrid must break away from their defensive strategy to find a way to score goals to remain in the tournament.
