RACE 3 No.1 Good Bean

Disappointing on face value at Eagle Farm last start however I’d suggest we put the pen through that effort. He may not have handled the track, pulled up with mucous in his nostril & he was going around in a stronger race. His previous two starts had yielded a debut second in quick time before bolting in here on the Poly surface. He can bounce back tonight.

RACE 4 No.5 Dry Times

Tony Gollan & Ryan Maloney combine with this Spirit Of Boom gelding who should be ready to peak at his third run back from a break. Strong closing effort first up here on the turf before sound when wide without cover behind Tuscany Bound on the Poly last time out. For mine his main danger is Chilliwack however with that galloper drawn wide it’s advantage Dry Times!

RACE 7 No.2 Tickler

Backs up off a solid placing at Doomben last Saturday behind the impressive winner Smart Image. Although no match he too made good ground which followed up a similar closing effort at Eagle Farm the run prior. Yet to tick the 1400m box however based on those 1200 & 1300m efforts it’s what he’s looking for & tonight should be his night to get that done carrying the same weight against inferior opposition.
