Caught the eye at Doomben last start when arguably unlucky not to win. He found himself snookered along the fence into the straight and was only able to gain clear running late which was unfortunately a little too late as although he picked up and charged to the line he just ran out of ground. Should handle the step to 1600m and if that’s the case can win.

RACE 7 No.1 Boomsara

The inaugural running of the Gateway sees a quality field to go around however there really doesn’t appear to be any strong speed amongst them. This Chris Munce trained galloper draws gate 1, likes to roll forward and comes into this off an outstanding first up run when parked wide without cover the entire trip. Can lead or box seat, this really does look made to order.

RACE 8 No.14 Removal

Well into double figure odds this Gold Coast trained galloper whose last couple of starts have been without a lot of luck. The latest was in the George Moore at Doomben a couple weeks back when strung up for a run early in the straight, only clear and wound up late he hit the line strongly suggesting the official 2.2 length margin could well have been less. Great each-way value.
